  3. Hi you fellow dutch cm-ers Is any of you planning to go to the Koblenz museum on september 7? If so I would be very pleased if I can go with you, maybe its a great day to meet eachother
  4. We are at turn 13,I have received reinforcements as has my opponent. he only has 1 problem, they cant get over the river. I think you should use extra boats for the reinforcements

  7. Firefly is right. Their was or maybe still is a small museum in Leiden. I have been there myself when I was a young boy. I dont know if it still exists though. I do know that there is a real chance that the army museum is going to be moved to Soesterberg on the same ground as the airforce museum

  10. Moments ago on a search for info on a certain Dutch unit I found this site. It is a list of all Dutch based musea related to army, navy and airforce and to the second world war. all aspects of war are mentioned there. resistance, liberation and occupation, holocaust. Too much to name here, some of the links to other museum sites are also available in German and English and maybe in French too. Although much info is in Dutch I am sure you guys can pick out the adresses and phonenumbers in case you come over to my wonderfull country. if you have any questions or if you need an english translation please feel free to ask. http://members1.chello.nl/~h.knoppers/musea.html Henk [ August 29, 2002, 03:54 PM: Message edited by: Stoffel ]
  11. Sorry Michael its in Dutch But maybe the author(if you can find him)is willing to do a English translation for you. I will have a look to see what I cn find.
  12. ai,aia,ai. tell me about bad knees I have them too. but despite that ,still I was tested OK for National Guard duty. ask for exercises you can do at home and do them every day. It helps trust me keep working on the depot,no problem if it have to take some longer. better longer and good than fast and bad henk
  13. well Chad, since i never played ASL that would make me an excellent opponent for you
  14. buy your wife some flowers from me that will make her day OK. at least that helps with my wife
  15. I am proud to announce that I completed all my battles results are two wins,a draw and a loss Up to the next round!!
  16. you can try my May 1940 scenario available at the depot. it has lots of mines, barbed wire and is a real blast fose infantry assaults. there also is an operation with a lot of bunkers, and other stuff but i cant recall the name. On the cd are some options too.
  17. Hi Michael, You can do a search on the net for a magazine named Armex. Its Dutch and i can remember they had an article once about firing and comparing the M1919,The MG 42 and the Brengun with the FN mag thought it have been somewhere in 1991,maybe they can give you the name of the writer, the guy fired all weapons himself
  18. hehehe, evil smiling as i report a..............DRAW Axis x(stoffel) against allied c(CJ thunfelt)in Aprils Fool day Good game, where I was able to setup a good double defensive line. Got armorkills with my good old panzerfausts Managed to do well with my armor,1 to 1 kill ratio against churchills isnt bad with soft skinned turretless armor Thanks CJ for a good game!
  19. I think he is right,I even read reports of 25mm rounds penetrating through the turretring of a T72
  20. odd, the same thing happened to me too,I really had no idea what I had to do. It took me several tries later with the gold demo to figure it out left me 4 years later with a lot of cm buddies to play with. Hope to see you friends all with CM 2
  21. one that comes into my mind is Quistreham I did some testing for it
  22. Fionn, The man made excuses, not especially to you but to the whole forum. Which is ok for me and should be OK for you. Grown ups like we are(At least I hope so) should say now: hey what the heck carry on,forget and forgive. I have respect for your knowledge and your efforts to the cm game but...... Dont throw oil on the fire again! Henk
  23. Pbem game is underway! I have played several turns as the defending Germans. No spoilers about troops so far. I had too wait long befor anything happened. The units given too me initially arent too mobile and suffer from a high command delay. This gives problems to defend a map as huge as this one, specially since you cant create overlapping fields of fire. Let you know soon about further progress.
