I'm sure you can see how that would happen, given that that's exactly what you said. I'm glad that you are willing to admit that. That was (IIRC) the day after we started the game. I tried to reach you. You didn't reply. You then sent an email from a different account that got caught in my spam filter (unrecognized email). I then posted a note to our original thread on the 10th. You ignored it. A week later you posted a new thread, apparently expecting me to scan the forums daily for any thread that has my username in it. Sorry, but I don't really have time for that. In short, you ignored both of my attempts to contact you, sent me an email from a different account from the one you had listed, and started a random forum thread in a place I was certain not to find it. Then you say that *I* am causing problems with continuing the game. Wow. The problem isn't my winning, it's finding time to play. I had plenty of time back on the 9th and 10th of last month, when you were ignoring me, but right this second I don't. I was willing to concede to Liam A) Because our problems were my fault and Because he was winning and had a right to have that reported if I couldn't go on. Neither is true in this case. If you are sincere about that apology, then you should stop *posting* this bull****. Max

My reason was that it was 3 in the morning where I was playing. The reason I haven't continued is that I haven't had time to play any online games since then. You were definitely ahead though, so if I can't continue soon I will report it as a loss. I'm not sure what else you want. That isn't true for Trapp. He wasn't ahead. I was actually looking forward to continuing that game, I'd love to have a win. I just haven't been able to get in touch with him since he doesn't respond to email or keep track of the forum thread we used- I check the address listed under my profile every few days, I've never seen anything from him. I'm not sure what you mean by 'Trapp is right' since you apparently don't know anything about the situation. Please explain. Max

I did look in the forum, the only post in our thread about continuing the game was from... Me. It was on the 10th. I never heard anything back from you. Which email address are you sending to? Why didn't you reply to the messages I sent to JTrapp86@attbi.com? Max

It might be easier to finish the game if you would reply to any of the two emails I sent you or the post I put in the original bid thread on opponent finder. I'm not sure what else you would expect me to do. I assumed that you were unhappy about your progress and just didn't want to continue the game. Liam- I haven't played any SC at all since that game. If I can't find any time in the next week or so I'll go ahead and post it as a loss, you were definitely ahead on points. Max

U-Boats actually ran on the surface much more than that. They would have been surfaced most of the night. At least during early and mid-war, they would have been surfaced for a significant part of the day. The batteries just weren't good enough to spend that much time running submerged. They used the diesels as much as possible and snorkel wasn't introduced until mid to late war (IIRC).

I'm trying to find a scenario where one side (probably the Germans) has a good amount of mines, wire, and bunkers. I'd like one that is set up so that you can arrange them yourself. My preference would be for something medium to maybe large, definitely not huge. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks, Max
