sniperscope replied to Wild Bill Wilder's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Wild Bill: SS Peiper and I just finished testing "A second Job". We found it well balanced and nerve wrecking. A ton of fun to play. sniperscope -

Nobody Ever Wins (long rant)
sniperscope replied to David Aitken's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
hmmmm interesting post. For me, it's just a game to have fun. Nobody gets hurt (except maybe my pride). I am right now playing a PBEM against TeAcH. Just having a good time, with a few drinks. No big deal. Just enjoy the game my friend. Some of us have waited for over 30 years for this game. Everybody knows that war is terrible. This is just a forum about a very addictive game, people posting, having fun, learning tactics, (Flonn keep posting them please) I can understand how you feel. Try to just enjoy the game for what it is. The best land based war game ever. sniperscope -
Can't wait for Mads BIG ASS UPDATE! LOL. I also go to his site about 10 times a day. We should have morning ass, noon ass and then the big ass update. sniperscope

Great Service, Plus more...

Welcome to our collective First: We agree with you 100 percent. BTS and the testers have put in alot of time to make this the best land based war game ever (in my opinion at least) Second: Multiplayer will be out a couple of months. Again this is my opinion based upon the postings of some of the testers. Third: I use them and have had no problems playing PBEM opp. who did not have them. sniperscope -
9 battles based on ASL!
sniperscope replied to Col. Klotz's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Back in the old days, my Lt.Stahler used to kick my brother, SS Peipers men in the ass hahaha. He never broke, never died, and always won. (At least thats the way I remember him.....through the smoke haze, listening to Jimmy and Janis. Just a flash back to a very good time in my life. And now Lt. Stahler can be brought back to life (In PC land). We can see him lead his men to victory. Great Job Col.Klotz sniperscope -
hahahahahhahahhaha USERNAME, that was very funny. sniperscope

Elvis, you are making to much of this. TCP/IP is coming....when it's ready. Look at what BTS, along with the great group of testers have done. When it comes, it will mostly be bug free, playable, fun as hell etc.etc. Just hold on, WE ALL want it. In the mean time, 1.03 is just around the corner, being tested right now by the testers. (Dam them for now giving us just a little hint.) Charles stated that it was going to have NEW things. sniperscope

Combat Mission = Close Combat 3D ?
sniperscope replied to Minnesota Joe's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Hello Joe and welcome to our collective. Sorry but I disagree with you regarding CM and CC. They don't even come close. Once you get the full ver. you will see why. John Kitter wrote up something regarding this game that hits home. In my opinion John submitted the best post regarding CM ever in this forum. CC was like having a Flintstone vehicle. Once you get CM you will be riding a Mercedes-Benz. sniperscope -

sniperscope replied to jpinard's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
I am afraid of these kinds of posts. I don't want to see BTS get pissed off and delay the release. Lets just keep our fingers crossed. sniperscope -
Welcome to our collective my friend. Forget your former life, you are one of now. sniperscope

Hi Bill: I am been downloading them. I have played some and most have been enjoyable. To this day the Wiltz is still the one that haunts me. I refuse to read any spoilers on it. When I am good and ready I will again attmept to take the town. Love that scenario. FYI: SS Peiper and I played for 3 hours last friday night on that Cityfight scenario you sent us for testing. What a game! We are set to continue tomorrow night at 10pm. I have started writing a short report regarding the scneario. Will keep you posted. sniperscope

Being worked on. No hard date set. My guess is that it will go to the testers first, get the bugs out then released to us. My opinion only is that it's still a ways to go. sniperscope
