Hitler's Legions by Mitcham

I don't know Eric Lefevre but be careful with Jean Mabire: this guy is more a ss-stuff-idolatric-maniac than an historian. -

Sherman 105 & Task Force Baum
Xavier replied to Sarge Saunders's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I read somewhere a similar story. During the fight for the liberation of Paris. A free french M4 encountered a Panther near "Luxembourg park". The M4 withdraw and called a M4105 in support wich was abble to immobilize the Panther. The later one was so abandonned by its crew. During the same battle, german also used some B1bis captured french 1940 tanks  -

Sorry to talk about this subject one more time. It seems a lot of european people are feel sade about the WG stuff. BUT... 1/ We (all harcore european wargamer) 'll buy CMBB when the first day it'll be on the shelf. 2/ Wait a few weeks until downloading the first CMBB patch on Battlefront website 3/ Everybody is happy because the patches will be for ALL the CMBB version.

Announcing CMBB Distribution Details
Xavier replied to Moon's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
In fact, there is may be a risk. As it seems that some people do want the "real" CMBB. I just hope it won't improve the number of pirated US version of CMBB , just to make available a stuff which must be not. -

Come on guys... All this debate about the ss or wg stuff is quite childish. BFC is going to sell us one of the best game of the market and we're still complaining about a minor issue which has NO influence on the in-game graphics or on the game engine... Tss, tss, it'sn't very kind of us or very respectful of the amazing work of the BFC team. Be sure of one thing: if it's good for BFC, it's good for us! -

Hi, in fact there are a lot of "Villers" or "Villers-Somefink" in France. Sorry, I don't know a lot about the Vosges area... Find a good restaurant, it's better that all the WW stuff -
This little trouble may be more annoying for CMBB with all the earlier tanks...

Hello, In fact, it's not really a bug but a little thing which isn't realistic. The Hotchkiss tank can fire with its gun with the tank commander unbutonned. My understanding of one-man or two-men turrets tank is that they can't fire if the commander (who is also the loader or somefink else) is outside the turret. Am I wrong?

 it seems there were no possibility to increase or decrease the angle of the firing tubes on these boats. -

Thanks for the informations. It's strange to see that western allies didn't develop more rocket artillery during WWII. If I remember well there was an english rocket battery at Waterloo, no? -
hi, I just want to know some info on this weapon. Was it common? Which caliber were the rockets? Thanks in advance

The commando "Kieffer" landed the 6th June on Sword beach (Troops 1 and 8 of the N°4 Commando = 177 men). Their mission was to clear and secure the beach sector. There was a strong fight at Ouistreham in the casino sector. At the end of the day, 41 men were kia or wounded... In the movie "The longest day", there is quite a good battle scene about the french commandos.

Last Defense It was THE REVELATION: I was amazed by the recoil of the tiger's gun and the little bastards who shout "los, los, berigung männer" (or Somefink ) I also remember I didn't understand why my guys were hurt when behind the cover of a tank
