  1. Iskander, creator of The Dullest CM Game Ever (small point mechanized on a generic map, joy), the game will continue on some more and probably end in a dull draw when squads run low on ammo. As for the rest of you, die as Jeff Shandorf is in our game. Slowly and bloodily with much gnashing of teeth. 3. poor, stupid Hamsters your apointed Kinigit says it's NOT a joust. So it ain't. Argue with him PeterNZ ------------------ - Official owner of the sig files of Dalem, Croda and Joe Shaw - Der Kessel scenario design group Combat Vision movies
  4. Not noticed it at all. I've found, when on defence, your own infantry will always do well ambushing the enemy, no matter what side you're on. That's just life! Try allies on defence and you'll see there's no difference in modeling that isn't accounted for by dif. weapons and skills. for allied attacker, take tons of inf, arty and big tank guns to flatten buildings. Level anything you can find. Drop very large arty shells on any suspicious patch of trees, lead your company with just one half squad from the first platoon to make sure you don't suffer severe losses if you run into the enemy. I can show you if you like, send a file PeterNZ ------------------ - Official owner of the sig files of Dalem, Croda and Joe Shaw - Der Kessel scenario design group Combat Vision movies

  6. If you've ever seen pictures of the contents of a tank after a hit from a round you'll understand why they bailed so quick, (probably worse if you've had to see it in real life, and smell it..) From an AP round it will either smash into someone and cut them or a limb in half. It may send shrapnel around the inside of the tank at high velocity, it may hit fuel or ammo in which case you are trapped screaming inside a burning vehicle. Either way, once imobilized and with no turret there is nothing more useful the crew can do so they decide to leg-it and live fair enough! hehe. 7. Crodakins, my evil and slightly stupid former co-squire and now co-kinigit, Is this to be a joust for kinigithood? If so, then Stevethegit can play, but on a map of MY chooosing and MY design. Those are the rules. I like to see my squire frolick and play and I'm sure him and Hamy will have a grand old time being crap players on a map of my concoction. If it is just to be a generic battle. Well I can probably accept it, but want to purchase the units for your squire, and you can purchase the units for mine. Deal? Let me know your desires (SDB!) of the CM-not-carnal-kind and we'll take it from there. 10. I thoroughly recommend "An intimate history of killing" It's essential for anyone interested in the field of war studies or stuff. I think it's quite illuminating and a useful guide to all your other books on the issues.. um, yeah, buy. Bevor's "Stalingrad" of course. "In Deadly Combat" - German pak gunner at Sevastopol and Lenningrad. "The Guns of War" - Canadian FOO, very engagingly written with lots of detail PeterNZ ------------------ - Official owner of the sig files of Dalem, Croda and JeffShandorf - Der Kessel scenario design group Combat Vision movies
  11. CM 2: For Great Justice! CM 2: Move all T34s! CM 2: Someone set us up the Stalingrad! CM 2: Make your time! CM 2: How are you gentlemen? It is all very clear. CM 2: Whatch' you talk'n about Stalin? PeterNZ ------------------ - Official owner of the sig files of Dalem, Croda and JeffShandorf - Der Kessel scenario design group Combat Vision movies
  12. Tom Keep in mind that ideally the Piat, once fired, would recock itself. I imagine they went into the battle with it ready to go and once fired it would generally recock itself. No idea what % of the time it would fail to do so. Would be fun to put in a % chance of it 'jamming' requiring a manual recocking time hehe. 13. what's going on? Why is this thread so wide damn it? Anyway.. News of my squires doom in the closed Peng Peng thread. Anyway. 14. Peng challenges Peng. The universe will now collapse up its own bunghole In other news, My little Squire, Steviegit learnt that while cockyness makes up for skill in some situations, in our game, it does not. I've been acting the meek innocent lamb for a few turns now and he's just walked into the carefully prepared ambush I set up and lost three tanks, Ha Ha Ha. Foolish child, you can surrender now if you want. The remainder of his forces are enjoying the effects of 150mm arty. Furthermore, I control all the flags. Not entirely sure what he's playing at. Perhaps it's Checkers, but it certainly doesn't resemble CM! 15. I've always thought.. (and i know how much you guys care about what i think! ) that this school murdering and stuff is really a grand form of suicide.. I mean, hey, you're planning on dying anyway, so why not take a few with you? As for all those drawings and stuff, wish i'd bookmarked the site where I read a child psych (who was also a priest) discover that a little play of heroes and villans really helped his kid.. The world is pretty scary, imagining you have some control over it is a powerful tool for kids was his angle. 22. Two armored cars does not a victory make squire, and don't count your oats before you have sown them or some such. I am waiting on you to hurry to your death. I have the time and the patience. It is assured whether you die now or in a few turns. Meanwhlie, go and rough up some of these newby upstarts and you shall enjoy the benefit of Gilligan's Isle PeterNZ ------------------ - Official owner of the sig files of Dalem, Croda and JeffShandorf - Der Kessel scenario design group Combat Vision movies
  23. Hmmmm, Chrisl It is a passable suggestion. I am tempted to order my minion to do the dirty work, but since the new person needs humbling more than he needs his ego bloated perhaps I better defeat him rather than my boy loose to him and make the swedish twat think he's good or somefink. I could make him battle it out on Gilligan's Isle with me.. 24. Poor deluded StevetheGit. Don't you realise I would never travel without my squire firmly attached to a harness (to pull my buggy of course) so it is clear the above ranting is meerly some naughty rebelious dream of yours. Now, to the matter at hand. This Bamse oddity has captured my attention, I shall do battle with him shortly I think. Meanwhile, how are your battles going? You are prooving the antithesis to my winning streak no? Anyway, go find another squire and taunt them into fighting. I have a scenario for you to play! Yes, Gilligan's Isle is ready!
