  1. Those kinds of things are frequently caused by the video card. Sgt. Squarehead has the right idea by suggesting that you open a Help Desk ticket.
  2. Here is a better screenshot of the rubble walls with a little sunlight on them. I think adding bullet holes to them might not look "natural". If so, not many of them. It is the equivalent of waist to knee level. How pockmarked with bullet holes should we expect a wall to be at that level of a knocked down wall? Maybe more cracks or somefink though.
  3. The link has been fixed. Thanks for the heads up!
  4. I'm sure that I have posted screenshots of these before but this is the new half wall,
  5. If I'm understanding your question correctly........ The top floor is what you get when you Ctrl-Click once. The middle floor when you Ctrl-Click twice. The bottom floor is when you do nothing.
  6. Well, that didn't take long. It's now above everything that isn't Combat Mission.
  7. I can dig it. I'm going to see if there is something in the back end that allows me to move this forum above the titles that we no longer offer.
  8. This probably doesn't belong on our forum but if it does it belongs in the General Forum.
  9. I was waiting for the broken promises list before locking it up. But, as you wish.
  10. He hasn't said or done anything that comes anywhere close to banning material. Well, maybe launching mild personal attacks against me but I have pretty thick skin. So, I never considered it. As I said about you, I understand people being passionate and it's flattering that when someone is passionate about something that I'm involved with creating. What gets lost, and I've alluded to, is that there isn't some conspiracy holding things up. It is what I've said that it is. No more or less complicated or nefarious than that. If he (or anyone else) thinks that I'm full of poop when I say that there is nothing that I can do about that. But, having said that........I am going to give this thread about 10 minutes before locking it up. There are at least 2 other threads where/thoughts/concerns about the time the module is taking can be commented on. No need for 3.
  11. "I want you to give me more information even though I don't believe a word that you say." I am trying to think what I've said that is a broken promise though. That I am curious about. So, exactly which promises have I broken? (your statement and my question are plural......I'd take a single example) You've got yourself too wound up, my friend. It is not life or death. Deep breaths help, bro. Deep breaths.
  12. As you can see from Aragorn's comments, if there is nothing new to report if seems that people aren't interested. If I say that the campaigns and scenarios are almost complete and the TO&E needs a little more once a week, is that what you're looking for? It isn't for Aragorn but if that is all there is to report than that is all there is to report. I mean I guess that I can spice up how I say it. Like, "one of Combatintman's scenarios has been tested again. He agrees with the recommended adjustment with it and is reworking it now. slysniper has uploaded an altered version of one of his."? I take no offense to your question. It shows enthusiasm for what we're creating. That is very flattering and not annoying at all. I hope that everyone understands that we'd like the module released more than everyone on this forum combined. We don't get paid for the work until it is completed. But, and I think that most people here would agree, that rather than rushing out an incomplete and/or inferior product our reputation has been to release quality work and we want to keep it that way. What if there is nothing more to report than that? I'm happy to make something up if that is more palatable. Kept in the dark about what? What question would you like answered that hasn't been answered already? I'm happy to give it a shot. What am I missing here? I gave a release date and that date wasn't in December. Expecting it in December when a release date in January was given isn't realistic, is it? There will definitely be a pre-order period. Traditionally pre-orders open when the release on just about ready for primetime. It is also when the official contents of a release are announced. Until then all aspects of a release are subject to change.
  13. Am I on the right forum? I thought this was the Battlefront forums?
  14. You also have it on Steam now too. Here's how:
  15. Yeah. It wasn't a pre-planned screenshot. I was playing a campaign battle and this guy pooped up. I thought "I can't remember if we'd been able to show Volks yet. Let me put one up just in case." When the real official gallery shots are assembled there will be a better one.
  16. I can't recall if we got a Volks screenshot up. I feel like we hadn't because the graphics weren't in yet. Here's one.
  17. Exactly. It wouldn't be a very good idea to have it on sale on Steam and not offer our folks the same thing. And, a Battlefront purchase of CMSF2 does give access to Steam keys.
  18. Have you been on the fence about getting Shock Force 2? Or, have you been undecided about picking up one of the modules? Well, wait no longer then are all on sale for a limited time right here: https://www.battlefront.com/shock-force-2/
  19. Maybe MikeyD can chime in about this. We need to keep in mind that the screenshots are of a Beta version of the game. Some thing may not have been completed yet or may not have been added by the last build. Or, it may be by design. MikeyD will know.
  20. I always say "the next scenario that I make will be my first". I'm a "taker", not a "giver" with CM content. We spoke about how he'd present this and he's going to do his best to give as much information out as possible without having any spoilers. I'm curious to see how that works out.
  21. So at this stage I'll pass the baton over to Ithikial who will provide a series of post over the coming weeks to demonstrate the different stages that go into designing a Combat Mission campaign and provide a guide to starting your own. (Maybe even some help with understanding campaign scripts). Sort of an add-on to JonS' excellent Scenario Design AAR back when you were waiting patiently for the Market Garden module for Normandy.
  22. The campaign’s master map, recreated using 1936 era topographic maps of the area, will also be provided alongside other master maps allowing for players to recreate battles in this area stretching forward into the Courland Pocket if they wish.
