Well I spent 4 years in South Korea training ROK troops and I beg to differ. Certain groups the ROK have are competent but they would have a major problem with any large scale invasion especially with the large size of what lies on the other side of the border. Also you are looking at a fanatical enemy invading a country where many do not wish to fight but to reunify. I think many people underestimate the North Koreans because of how silly thier leader looks to the outside world. -Ray

Hi guys, cant believe I missed this topic. I only read the first two pages but if China does indeed move to reunify, and ties up the 7th Fleet for any length of time, you can bet that it will lead to destablization on the Korean Pennisula which would be far more disasterous than losing Taiwan as an ally. I think the North Koreans will certainly take advantage of the clear skies and launch a major offensive, especially if the US keeps its plans to shift most of the 37k troops to other theatres. The South Koreans wouldnt last more than a week even if we were able to land an airborne division inside of 18 hours. Now I do not think anything will happen until after the 2008 Olympics, but I think China is trying to build up its forces so its bite matches its bark. -Ray

One must give Stalin some credit here. I mean it is obvious he has now figured out how to strap that lawn chair on the back of a sheep and learned how to balance well enough to become inebriated while typing up these ghastly meanderings of rubbish so that we cant help but feel pitty for a grown man who only a while back was sending pictures to the Queen of himself running through the aisles of his local pub singing "Fosters is Kiwi For Beer Mate" in his tiedyed bloomers. LOL Cpl, that out of date PC is better than mine if it runs that game hehe. Me and the wife unit (thats girlfriend in code that keeps her happy and keeps me from doing something stupid) had a fight about me buying a computer to play CMSF when it comes out. She said we arent spending 5k on a computer and I told her it would only be 1k to make it (I know I was only talking about the Vid cards but she wont know until AFTER I open the packages and its too late to return ) -Ray

Actually this game looks interesting. I thought it was just a joke but I guess maybe not. But even though I am a member of the US Army Reserve, have been on two tours in Afghanistan and was a part of certain operations in the Middle East during my active duty days, I do understand why they feel blighted and just as we do are prone to making historical assessments that fits our political adgendas, they have the same right I suppose. Arabs are some of if not the most prideful people on the planet. They can also be among the nicest and by far the most hospitipal peoples in the world. I wont get into examples of this but it wasnt always that bad being among them. But maybe this game will give you more understanding of thier take on things which in turn may help you to understand that war is a game politicians play and someone else fights. -Ray

It amazes me that no one ever risks thier high pilots w/o ed against a human pilot... and escort missions should be limited.... and soon we will be matching all you elite pilots against each other... but Mist will most likely win that too!!! -Ray

Thx Lake. I actually wasnt sure until I did a little more research. I think its a neat theory and I like how they kept the checkers on the underside in the middle of the wings. Why they werent switched I have no clue. Guess not many planes get waxed from below.... -Ray

Hi Dan I found this... http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/pzl37lk_1.htm Apart from squadron numbers and serial numbers (only on the left side of the fuselage) these aircraft are also wearing the PZL logo on the tail and Polish national insignia on the wings and rudder. Polish checkers on the upper wings were positioned asymmetrically in relation to the fuselage, which was supposed to make aiming by an attacking fighter more difficult.

Hello, When it comes out I think you will find lots of humans that even after defeat will play you over and over. You can even play the Down In Flames demo to see how good MNB is gonna be with players and AI. -Ray

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in favor of decks specific to planes. I also am in favor of skills specific to each plane. I think that maybe when you bring Jets into the mix this will help balance it too.

Ok I will start with Ki-84 and you can just go straight up the Ki-xxx list. Also I would like to see some of the Soviet jet planes as before I started looking at how awesome thier planes were I never knew. The BI jet plane never made it operational but I would love to see it modeled. Think it would have been a good counter to the Me-163 and Me 262. Also love to see the Spit IV. And French Planes and Polish planes and even a few more American ones. But most of all I want to see the MC 2005!!! Thats Italian for Damn awesome plane, please make me for this game! I guess if you do another 100 planes we still will want more. And when you make a modern DIF sim I can think of a hundred more!!!!!! -Ray

Sorry to inform you guys but the game has been bought by Mattel and they are making a more anatomicaly correct version and the game will not ship until one of the quarters in one of the years. Delaying the production is to make sure the game plays exactly like Panzer General: Invasion Malibu with Barbie in an encore performance of her award winning role in "Ava Gardner: Were They Real Or Peanut Butter?"
