Ok well I stand corrected about human vs human custom missions.

No I dont believe custom missions will be able to be flown against anything except AI. But you will be able to fly any fighter aircraft against eachother. But I havent ever tried to fly against another human considering the only other human that can play it is Stalin and he isnt as human until he's had his fill of mutton luvin. Right now I am not sure if the custom missions will count towards your ladder score. It has been too hard to balance, but it is interesting to say the least. Dan is the boss so it will be up to him to decide if its just for fun or if it counts.

Hi Jake, There really isnt any huge advantage except that you are able to avoid the lesser planes until you get higher in the experience sphere. Then a pilot that has a 1.1 experience modifier will obviously get more experience faster. I am happy you are being downinflameafied. Now that you are assimilated, welcome to the community. He just has impulses that give away his being from New Zealand.

When in game if you go to the top drop down menu... Help> View Aircraft Statistics Then just cycle through them and you will see the unlock points on the right.

Well the AI can be fun but nothing compares to fighting humans online. Also you do not have to play others online, you can just fight the bots. The good thing is you can always see how you are doing compared to other pilots from the website.

The powers that be have been notified. Battlefront may just need to reboot the server. Will keep you apprised of the situation guys...

Paul, It was never intended for you to fly the P-35 for a huge length of time. The intent of flying such machines is actually for you to learn to defend yourself. If you had to fly the P-35 for say 2000 experience points, people would most likely be very bored and quit before they got there. But may I also suggest you also fly rival nations planes such as Japan too. Gives you a better sense of what to do to shoot one down if you can see all the little tricks one can do from the other side of the coin. But once you get to the Corsair, you will enjoy this game much more.

One thing to note here guys..... Having extra cards to draw as you get higher in experience is essential to staying alive. My standard loadout on escorts is x5 extra cards and atleast x5 redraws for my leader. I usually keep the redraws at x20 though so I dont forget to rebuy them My wingman usually has x4-5 extra cards and LOTS of redraws too. Redraws are super important to the wingman. Many many times redraw has saved me from certain silk lines of death. And just remember, it wasnt your plane being shot down that killed you..... it was Sixxkiller that killed you!!!

Escorts usually give the best rewards for experience, but you need to be in the top planes to do well in them. 3-400 experience you should still be doing dogfights. I usually start doing escorts with my new pilots at around 75-100 kills or so.

I would rather have sandbags than not have sandbags if i needed them. It usually isnt sandbags that are the problem, its just having static defensive positions that suck. I am pretty sure that even w/o sandbags its pretty obvious that you are in a defensive line. Kinda hard to hide it in the desert. But as long as I dont not have to fill them I am happy.
