  1. Those are countries that have been wiped off the map you sheepquestrian. Sweden didnt join anyone. I conscripted them as it looks better to include them so people didnt ask why they are whited out.
  2. I see Charles better watch his back. Sounds like Madmatt is leading a coup with Steve to get all the code into place and then wack Charles and keep the engine all for themselves. Better get a nice Marine helmet Charles so that RPG can bounce... PS Pretty good plan though.
  3. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh GEEK OUT, duh duh dun na, Le Freak C'est GEEK.. GEEK OUT!
  4. The Shinden was actually going to be produced as is, even before testing. They even had plans to install a rocket type engine on it J7W2, so I guess maybe it or the Mizuno "Sinryu" Type 2 Rocket Intercepter could be good for a Japanese jet a/c. Only thing about the Sinryu was that it had about 30 seconds of flight time. That could be good for turn 1 and then it crashes in DIF . Hate to be the lucky pilot for that one as even a kamakaze pilot had a better chance at surviving. Most likely the one that would have been good would be the Mitsubishi J8M Shusui which was a copy of the Me-163. The Kawanishi N1K2-J "Shiden-Kai would be cool to have also even if only 450 were produced. No jet though
  5. Hi guys, Take a look at the map. The rules I am still tweeking. Also can you guys please tell me what country and region you want to fly in http://sixxkiller.bravehost.com/web-content/images/Europe_map_intro.jpg
  6. DIF isnt going out of business. And in the future there may be offline campaigns. Posting pilot stats would lead to cheating.
  7. Found this...... The Soviet victory owed a great deal to the ability of her war industry to outperform the German economy, despite the enormous loss of population and land. The Stalinist five year plans of the 1930s had resulted in the industrialization of the Urals and central Asia. In 1941, the trains that shipped troops to the front were used to evacuate thousands of factories from Belorussia and the Ukraine to safe areas far from the front lines. As the Soviet Union's manpower reserves ran low from 1943 onwards, the great Soviet offensives had to depend more equipment and less on the expenditure of lives. The increases in production of war materiel were achieved at the expense of civilian living standards — the most thorough application of the principle of total war — and with the help of Lend-Lease supplies from the United Kingdom and the United States. Germany, unable to compete on quantity (in 1943, the Soviet Union manufactured 24,000 tanks to Germany's 13,000) adopted a strategy of competing on quality. This led to highly successful designs such as the huge Tiger tank and the anti-tank panzerfaust. These enabled German soldiers to continue to fight at considerable numerical disadvantage until the huge losses in 1944 used up the last German manpower and materiel reserves.
  8. Hi Zanadu, I am in total agreement about the P-39. Make Russian Campaigns way better I do think if the Germans got a new plane it should be a Tu-152. Something a bit better than a Fw190 but not as good as a Me262. But the Brits and US need a nice little Jet to grace the blue skies!
  9. LOL. Tom I was thinking the same thing. I will tell you what, we can develop one together.
  10. In defense of Rastak... He had a lot of patience to not say that 4 threads ago He only said what I had said 20 times without the curse word. Bravo Ras!!! If I didnt have a mirror to see how sexy I am, you'd be my hero!
  11. Well lets see, I used a Remmington M24 when I was in the Army and it costs about 1/20th to produce as another rifle I used, the M82A1. Oddly it still killed even though its effective range is only 2/3rds of the pricer one. And the bullets are about 1/50th of the same price....
  12. Maybe try the code in the second line (EF). If not email difadmin@battlefront.com and Brian will help you out. Welcome to the community! -Ray
  13. Ok let me put it this way one last time. Lets say there are a total of 100 votes to change the description. I as the "Lead Campaign Designer" have 50 votes. Stalin has 50 votes. Bride aka Mr Montoya has 50 votes. Thats 150 votes out of 100. Now if Stalin and Bride say, "Ray, change it you old sexy guy with a beautiful puppy (http://sixxkiller.bravehost.com/web-content/Dog/dogindex.html) then it gets changed. Now you have say -150 votes. You actually started with 0 but calling people who have way more knowledge than you do has lost you 150 votes. So if you can come up with +301 votes, you will actually get a say. Until then you starting new threads after you have been proven wrong is a bit pathetic. Any questions Sunshine?
  14. Hi Doraniner, Lets see how the expansion sells. I want the Italians and French planes too! But it takes money to have the modelers create them. Maybe if you and everyone else buy 3 more copies of the expansion it will get them rolling out. Viva La MC 2005!!!!!
  15. HumanMage, Next time you call one of my staff a retard I will ask one of the BFC guys to remove your posting rights. Its getting old.....
  16. Mr Montoya wrote, You contest the phrase, "while still superior in pilot skill and better quality aircraft..." This may actually be your strongest point yet. I do not actually know the truth in this matter and would appreciate input from others in this regard. The Germans were much better in skill and the planes were a far cry better than the Soviets. The campaign actually reflects this in 42 and 43 with the Soviets catching up a bit in 44. If only this guy would play a campaign to see this.....
  17. I get what he is saying now. He is saying that we must prove all our facts with numbers. We do that but we are still wrong. So no matter what, since he obviously cant read english above 4th grade level, we will never get this guy to believe anything we say. Well he did say Zanadu was 100% right but was also wrong.... But one last time I will tell him this.... NOTHING WILL CHANGE FOR THE CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION UNLESS........ 1. I am ordered to by higher powers such as Brian, Dan, Matt, Moon, Steve, or Charles. 2. Stalin, Mr Montoya, or anyone else on my test team who are much smarter than I am on Russian aircraft and WWII tells me that I am wrong. 3. My dog tells me she doesnt like steak, chicken, and pork chops. 4. Elvis returns with Zhukov to sing me Weezers greatest hits in B flat. 5. Iran converts to the jewish faith and declares war on Zimbabwe (I used Zimbabwe because its the coolest sounding country name) 6. I stop being the sexiest Sixxkiller of them all. So any further discussion is pointless because you have had a chance to prove me wrong and yet you havent. So in short, not only have you lost the battle, but you also lost the war. See ya sunshine
  18. Yep BvB, I remember very well when you played more. Glad to have an original back. Thx for being the first one to show interest. Only 13 more to go!
  19. I think you need to read that again.. Second, the general level of training in the Soviet Army, and the armoured force, increased dramatically. Not only were commanders more experienced and better able to pass on that experience to their subordinates, but the Soviet military, unlike the German Wehrmacht, had the manpower reserves to send a large percentage of their troops and officers to schools for technical training. By the beginning of 1943, almost 1,000,000 men (and women) were in military schools, academies, and "military courses" in the USSR. When these graduates went to the front 3-, 6-, or 9 months later, they were far better able to handle the basic staff and command tasks than the unfortunates standing in the way of Operation Barbarossa in 1941.
