  1. Yeh, I don't think working on the one wife is the best choice of words. 33 years tho...poor wife! She must be a tolerant woman, Joe. Very tolerant indeed. Very, very, VERY tolerant. . . . . . . Did I say she was tolerant? Mace
  2. You've got the nationalities around the wrong way. It's understandable, given your advanced years. Mace
  3. The majority smarter than your average Texan, I would think Joe. Sterno? Please explain. Mace
  4. is it hatred music? I only listen to hatred music*. Mace * as defined by JJR
  5. Along with three course meals and a fine selection of suitable wines? You're a very strange Maggot, DaveH! In Australia, we step on our snails (basically because we never share beer with pests, unless they're bigger than us and have nasty, sharp, gnashing teeth and go GRHGHGRHGHRG GRHGRHGRHGRHGR GHRHRGHRGHRG....oh keeeerist, I think I just scared myself) Mace
  6. Not my Simon? Who I nurtered as a squire and sheep pen muckraker Cesspooler? *gets teary...blows nose HONK* How quickly they grown up and leave home!! *HONK...blows nose again* Mace
  7. You must be the only person we know who would hang around with a nun to improve your 'cool' factor. Mace
  8. The Diggers always had respect for the stoicism of the Tommy soldier, but detested the class based system of the British command structure. So they always gave the Pom officers as enough grief as possible, and wouldn't bother saluting them unless the officer could prove by behaviour or action that he was worth saluting. btw, I have a picture somewhere I inherited of two Canadian soldiers standing near the WW1 front lines, supposedly taken by my Uncle Walter. Their surnames were Whitlock. Uncle Walter's surname was Whitlock. On discussion, It turned out that Uncle Walter and these two were distant cousins. Small world huh? Mace
  9. *check's diary* 90 minutes away from the start of today's classes, then followed by carousing with classmates, inebriation, and possible stomach pumping circa 6am PST. Mace
  10. Yeh, well I guess he does need someone a lot tougher than him to carry out his fighting. *shrugs* Mace
  11. You think like an ex-boil that has been lanced? I thought you'd more think like a very intelligent person that had been lobotomised with 99% of his brain removed. Which, basically, is all you need if you're a lawyer, or a key requirement I guess? Still, always nice to hear from the great JD. Mace
  12. Well spotted. The drive and the 6 main bogies are identical to that on the FV 432. Looks like the hull was extended however because the FV432 has five, rather than the six bogies as per this 'Stug'. PS the fighting structure compartment looks slightly high as well. Mace
  13. *Enters*.... OH! Ummmmm....Sorry. *blushes* I didn't know you and RLeete were ..err... busy. Errr....Continue what you're doing, I'll just leave you two to be alone. *makes a hurried exit* Mace [ July 30, 2004, 03:01 AM: Message edited by: Mace ]
  14. The particular title for that book I think was 'Monte Cassino'. Even Aussies got a mention as fighting in Italy which draws me to the conclusion that perhaps Sven confused a pacific island with Anzio, and that the 27th Penal Panzer Regiment was actually part of the Imperial Nippon army? Regardless, I overlook the 100% historical innacuracy and read the books every now and then for entertainment. Something about Porta's tall stories gives me the giggles. Mace
  15. I love Kitty because she has a certain way with words. Mace [ July 27, 2004, 06:07 AM: Message edited by: Mace ]
  16. Why yeth, yeth it ith *sprays saliva all over the cheery waffles* GHGHAGHAHRG ...*sprays*... GHGAHGHGAHGAG ...*sprays*... GGGRAHGH..TTTH ...*sprays*    Mace
  17. Yes mamm >=|~~~~~~ For the meeting, should I first break DangerousDave's kneecaps with the cricket bat, or rearrange his face with the kunckledusters? Oh and mamm, don't forget you have an appointment with that copper bloke, 'breakwind'.. errr 'breakdance'... err *reads notes* 'breakthrough' this coming weekend. I think reporting him to internal investigation with a false claim will suffice, rather than the physical violence? Want me to sit on your lap for this evening's dictation? Mace
  18. Here's some clues: Fell asleep during the geography lessons? Think everyone comes from the same country as you (whatever country that is, whoever you are)? Heard of time zones? I don't play favorites: I hate everyone of both threads equally, and I hope they detest me as equally. Mace
  19. *readies the knuckledusters and cricketbat for the appending meeting* Mace
  20. Now what the 'ell would I be doing with an Atlas stuck between my legs? You are a very strange fellow. As for the walking funny, and high squeakey voice....I'm normally like that. Mace
