  1. Quite alot has changed since the beginning of August 2007. (1.03) We are at patch 1.08 now. So get back in there. [ April 03, 2008, 10:11 AM: Message edited by: Huntarr ]
  2. One thing I noticed was that 1.08 affected LOS, also Motivation of lower quality troops. (ie. Routing)
  3. Ha! I've never been to the joint and they are bad mouthin me there. Love it! I'm honored.
  4. You can only target the area from the waypoint not targets. Unless you play Basic with the borg spotting. VET & Elite, if you haven't seen the target you can not target it. Hope that helps Exel
  5. You can also use BREACH with your MOUT units. Nice room clearing.
  6. Don't push the button that says "DEATHBLOSSOM http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=002928;p=2#000027 http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=004014#000005 These might help. You select the waypoint you want the pause at then you give it the amount of pause you want (15 sec increments)

  11. I concur with JohnO on this. There is no decernable difference wether the FO is in or out of the FSV. We know that it allows for 1st round hit accuracy in real world situations. Due to onboard fire control computer, GPS, Laser, Optics all integrated. http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/docs/bct/Annex-A-Appendix-4-Fire-Support-Vehicle-31-Jan.htm It is one of the great unanswered questions. Even the Betas don't get the answer. http://www.battlefront.com/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=003315

  13. Consider your self enlightened, Maggot! Now go forth and let slip the dogs of war. Enjoy my friend. 14. You can make the plan much more elaborate if you wish, even adding pop smoke. If you add more waypoints you can do any number of things. "Deathblossom" my favorite.
  15. The infantry was given a 30sec pause and a QUICK to the 1st floor, then ASSAULT to the roof At each of the MOVE’s a TARGET is given on a suspected building to laydown suppression fire. The Strykers are moving forward targeting the buildings at each of the waypoints.
  16. It's a very simple work around until something can be done about a cease fire command once a wall is breeched. </font> Determine breech point. Use Overwatch with support units.</font> </font>Select TARGET command, place on wall section.</font> </font> Give the unit a 15 sec PAUSE</font> </font>Select a Movement order. REVERSE/SLOW depending on your preference. Place it to the rear of the unit if reversing or to the front of the unit if using a forward move.</font> </font> Select the end waypoint and give FACE command in the direction you wish.</font>(This ends the TARGET command) You now have a breech large enough for your units to proceed through. Semper Fi
  17. If the roof has a wall the walled material should be the same modeling as the building. It doesn't seem to be the case currently. That would account for penetration, but it seems that it may be more about exposure. Your showing exposure the same as in a trench vs. a window.
  18. Put some babes and water on it and you get my vote. </font>
  19. http://www.robotmatrix.org/RobotResourcePage.asp?urlBody=http://www.irobot.com/sp.cfm?pageid=140 iRobots' Packbot Scout. Sequoia the answer to your query is "Aye sir."
  20. Well hell since we need to add anything that occasionally happens in combat, I want to make sure the Marine module gets...... Silly String! Yes that's right Silly String. Hopefully some of you know what I'm talking about. Since it happened we have to model it. [ March 08, 2008, 09:27 AM: Message edited by: Huntarr ]
  21. I've posted that as a bug in Projects. I've had it happen to me.
  22. This command enables an infantry unit with demo charges to blast a manhole through a building wall, exterior or interior, as well as through tall stone or brick walls, allowing the unit and any other units that would follow to pass through the wall. The time it takes to conduct this command varies based on unit experience, and can range from one minute to several minutes per wall. Restrictions - only available for infantry units carrying demo charges. Example - moving in a city down an open street can be lethal when the enemy has a few well position machineguns in place. A much more safe but time consuming method is to blow holes in adjoining buildings, avoiding the open street entirely. Another good use for this command is to enter and storm a building from an angle the enemy isn’t expecting. Why even waste time and resources on silly fluff when we already have the combat command in place? Adding unnecessary novel maneuvers is a total waste. Focus on OpAI, TacAI, Air/Arty Support.
