My suggestion is to start with the QBG Maps Vol 1, 2, and 3...

Just d/l-ed the first batch and I have what is probably a slightly goofy question: Is there any way after a QB battle loads that I can tell whether it's a stock map or one of yours? </font>

  3. Check the file size you were sent against the file size you dl'd... If they are different you have a server file size limit. I use Gmail which allows larger files than your email account may. Also virus scanners may require you to zip your files....Mine does not. These are the places to look first. I play PBEM daily without trouble. But if you are so certain that PBEM is broken here's how to test: Setup a PBEM game, play both sides by moving the outgoing save file to incoming (thus avoiding your server) and continue playing that way. See if you can get PBEM to crash. If you cannot, take the files and send them to yourself. Dl the files and check file size sent against file size dl'd. In this way you can control and check all aspects of the PBEM engine.

Faulting application cm shock force.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module cm shock force.exe, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00ddd6ea.

The application, E:\Games\Combat Mission Shock Force\CM Shock Force.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 02/23/2008 @ 08:53:10.453 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 011DD6EA (CM Shock Force)

There are three different patches for the three places you could have purchased the game. Have you checked to make certain you have the right patch? I have Your EXACT video card w/XP and have had no troubles.

What do you mean about all those new scenarios and campaigns? I have downloaded v1.07 and only have the two campaigns (Training and Thunder) and the same 19 scenarios.

Did you get more with the patch? If not, where did you find them?

    Thanks,

I expect he means the scen and campaigns found @ www.CMMODS.com

The 107 patch has 32 more QB maps.

  6. In what way do they drop off? Is there a movement order given to the roof or off the roof? Are they under fire? You can send me the save file but please also give a description of the activity proceeding the dropping off. I have not seen this in 106 and I have not been able to replicate it since seeing your post. I've done 3 different setups and the MG teams seem OK.

Please note that as of 1.06 there is a bug that prevents units from *entering* buildings though the “blown” walls created in the editor – however units are still able to *exit* the building though those walls. So be extra careful when planning movement orders around the ruined parts of the buildings. Also, walls destroyed *during* the battle seem to work just fine, so engineers can still be used to their full capacity.

Gonna grab it. The Testers and BFC are aware of the bug.

I am gonna try to duplicate your crash.

I tried to duplicate your CTD by multiple replay with advance reverse buttons, full minute replays and otherwise pushing the replay controls about rudely. No CTD. This ONLY means I can't do it, doesn't mean it isn't happening to you. If you could send me a save file prior to CTD and let me know generally how many replays it took to crash I'd appreciate it.

    With Windows XP:

    1. Click on Print Screen button (you can only do this one at a time and the screen save is always the last click)

2 Exit game and go to Programs/accessories/Paint

    3. In Paint click edit and Paste. You can now use paint to change size, file type to upload (JEPG usually ) or get Photoshop which I use because ANY dunderhead can get Really good results with it...I'm living proof!)
