How come Canadian Light Infantry was left out of SF2?

I noticed there's no Canadian Light Infantry in SF2 but there is in SF. The British, Germans and Hollish (OOPS! Excuse me) Netherlandish all have them. Why none for the Canuckians?

Just a guess but I think for a mechanized war we wouldn't send troops with just trucks for transport. So even the light infantry units would end up with someone else's LAVs for their rotation and therefore not really be light infantry.

A better question might be why would the Brits, Germans and Duch send guys with out hard transport?

@Mord  Do you mean the Nyala equipped Canadian Infantry 'Rifle Company' that was available in CM:SF1? 

If so it's now treated as part of the larger Canadian Mechanised 'Independent Battlegroup', along with two LAV-III equipped mech rifle companies.

Yeah, ok. I just checked and as stated they aren't a separate formation option in SF2 like they were in SF1. They were only a company in SF1 anyway. In SF2 you have to choose their parent Battlegroup and then delete all the other mech and support companies. Got it. Which explains why there is no plain Infantry portrait in SF2.
