Article is called "We Were a Cheerful Cargo" and is in The Paris Review of Literature. The piece talks about sniper training, male reactions and details a surreal clash, in battle, between the spotter and the sniper--with targets in plain sight! The author won the Nobel Prize for Literature for one of her other works.
