Already diownloaded. But, are you doing a new version re Bimmer's comments?

Yes, it is strange that the insurgency in Syria hasn't been more successful than the Iraq one was vs the US. But, then probably(?) the US was hamstrung by ROE's and the Syrians are not.

I have been trying to locate what mods there are for early war. But, now with so many CM version games available, it's tough to focus on more than one or two. I play CM1 tournies at BOB H2H and they are terrific. But, CM2, I only enjoy vs the AI. CM2 AI is good and the large scenarios I like are too complex to play vs a human... too slow.

Have to persuade wife to get iPad 3 as a work necessity...

They do not lie... they tell truth...

Running as Admin is not always the solution. Sometimes one's antivirus can do a number. ZoneAlarm Toolbar is infamous for blocking CM2 games from running regardless of Admin status.

I actually think that paranoia for tankers or any troops in wartime would be quite common. So, quite realistic that they would see Tigers and ghost tanks everywhere, and maybe that shadow moved! So, let's get outta here or blast the hell out of it...

Hehe... the windshield on my car is often as dirty as in your pic and that's merely after a day or two of drizzle, not driving thru mud, ditches, bocage, and burning oily smoke etc...
-
Lookin good. Thanks.

Did you do all those sky mods etc at CMMODS? I was amazed at how many new CM1 mods were now available at CMMODS. And they all look very good.

Lucky I got it the first time.

Rationale 836/b-c5: CMBN depicts troops in highly stressful situations and they do have to blow off steam in some way occasionally.

The lowly jeep and kubel have always been one of my favorites even from CM1 days. Suggest more mud on the windshield for the wipers to have wiped. The dirty parts still look too clean.
Also, didn't they usually have the windows in the down position? Is that possible as an alt?
Is it also possible to have that vertical wire cutter bar the jeeps had welded in the front after the Germans strung wire across roads to behead bikers and jeep riders?

Never seen one like that in WW2 pics. Where was it used most?

No need to copy the entire game. All one really has to do is create a new BMP folder for ETO mods and swap and rename that as required.

Lovely... thank you again.

Thanks... we're getting overwhelmed with helmet mods now lol.
-
Yes thanks, Marco... I love the range + cal version. (Any chance for your version of the support button for CMBN as well as CMSF and CMA???)
-
I wish saving one's wounded were scored even a little - heaven knows most of the CMBN effects are so subtle it's hard to tell (eg: effectiveness of snipers, squads without C2, leader bonus effects...). So, you'd think there should be an incentive rather than grabbing weapons and ammo.

Thank you. Got so many helmet mods now, have to start the mix n match.

It sounds silly, but I inadvertently found that that FAST moving an AT team so they run at full tilt past some point that is within range of a tank (preferably buttoned up and with its flank to the team), the guy with the shrek/zook, will stop, aim and kill the tank and then continue his FAST move to wherever safe place you originally designated.
I have killed more tanks doing this (by mistake!) than by any other method. Just one way in which playing "the system" works.

I really, really hope so...

I have found the night missions to be impossible to play - cant figure out how there were even designed unless the designers' video card settings were maxed out.
That's what I do, turn up my videocard settings so it's almost like day and play that way. I ask... what's the point...?

If you have Win 7 and installed to the default directory, you have to look under admin-appdata-virtualstore-programfiles (x86)-Battlefront-gamefiles-saved games
Why we have to delete saved games this way is a good question.
I eventually reinstalled to a C:/SIMS directory to make life easier.
