aleader got a reaction from Blazing 88's in Fire and Rubble module has been released!!
So, I assume this is only released to those who pre-ordered?  It still says that it's a pre-order on the product page, and there is also still no bundle available.

So this is a bug?  I am having to do this every single time I load a battle, save game or new.

I'd like to know this too.  To me, this is the biggest benefit to having the game on Steam as the current process is a royal PITA.
I see the prices have been discounted here enough now that it may entice me to buy at least one of the modules.  Seems there's no benefit to getting the bundle as the price is the same now.  Will the bundle be available on Steam at some point?

Yes, and this is where the biggest complaints are going to be on the user reviews on Steam.  Gamers have come to expect modern graphics, and the CM games aren't it.  I've heard all the arguments why..no need to rehash it here again.  I think this is a big reason why I can't justify the price these days, and the same reason I don't play Falcon BMS much...it's a turd when compared to DCS, even if the dynamic campaign is light years ahead of any content in DCS.  In any event, more cash, better game engine, we'll all be happy.

I've been playing this since 2000, so I know how long it's been around.  Lots of excellent, long-term games on Steam.  DCS World, Squad, all of the Graviteam games, Battle Academy 1 and 2, Order of Battle, the Total War games, and my current favorite, Frostpunk, which cost me $22 CDN.  There's also the Civilization games, and the newer IL2 games, which are excellent.  Need I go on? I also love the Dirt games (Rally - $10, and Dirt 3, which was free on Steam) and Euro Truck 2 and ATS, which cost me a grand total of $36 with all DLC.  Picked up both FC3 and Black Shark 2 for $42 CDN in one of the sales last year.  Don't know if I'll live long enough to play them all!
Unfortunately for small developers, Steam has raised expectations on price and discounts.  I can't believe how many times in forums I've read that $19 is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!  Crazy.  Same argument goes on over at the Steel Beast forums, although they have come out with a much more palatable pricing format of late.  Battlefront releases excellent demos.  Graviteam and Eagle Dynamics moved to Steam...not sure how it's working out for them, but they can take advantage of the 'impulse buyers' like myself that seem to collect games just because they're on sale 😀  Do I play all these all the time?  No, don't have the free time with a wife and 2 kids.  Is this game worth it at the price?  If it's all you play, maybe.

aleader got a reaction from Seedorf81 in Best order for building entry
The bigger issue I'm having in the 'Breaking the Bank' battle is getting destroyed by forces on the other side of the street once I cross into the 1st building.  I wish there was a way to keep them back from the windows once they enter the building.  There's so many buildings in this one, and you don't have any AFV support unless you go around the outside edges, which I always assume is a death trap.
Another thing I've run into a few times now is infantry entering the side and front of a building instead of the rear door, which is a much safer option obviously.  I've had a few squads chopped up by fire because of this (happens even when I split the squads).  I do give shorter orders outside the rear entrance, but they still spread out and go in three different ways.  I'm assuming this is a 'feature' of 4.0?  I do like that they spread out better now, but it causes some dumb behaviour if that's what's going on.  I have also had a few squads run away at the first hint of fire coming their way even though they aren't panicked or routed.
Anyone have tips for these issues?
