Tread Head Posted October 28, 2011 Share Posted October 28, 2011 In the old game, when you killed a tank it just stayed there dead... no more reason to worry about FOW. In this game, if I move out of LOS of a DEAD tank it disappears.... WHY? No like it is going to take off or attack you later... Also, In the old game when you saw a tank then it when out of LOS or you heard a tank you would get a a generic tank marker... I miss that... Sure but now you get the ? icon instead (or a star or a cross if you are using Niessuh contact icons). However, if you get enough info on something for it to be a contact, you get the icon for it. You just don't know that the only reason you know about it is sound. slysniper Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 If you are playing Wego, you can go to the general area and you can hear the sound yourself if that is what is causing the marker. The tanks are treated like any other enemy unit: only friendlies with LOS or in C&C of a unit w/LOS "know" about the enemy unit and see it. This applies to enemy casualties as well. If you want to see every known enemy unit, you need to deselect your friendlies.
