weapon2010
I like this feature.I think it needs to be tweaked a little bit.My troops seem to be" buddy-aiding" when the enemy threats are visible and too close, he should be firing to preserve himself, his wounded buddy, and the squad until close enemy contact is broken.Buddy-aid should commence when things have calmed down a bit.Ive lost some good men while they are "buddy-aiding"in some horrific conditions.I commend their courage, but question their timing.
xian
agreed - happened to me too.
Wego McPbem
It depends on the situation really. For example if the guy with the machinegun is hit then I want buddy aid to kick in immediately to get the weapon up again as quick as possible. Can't say I've had any problems with the system yet.
c3k
Funny: I see that sometimes, but I also have plenty of times when I'm trying to FORCE the buddy-aid feature, but my troops ignore my intent. I write off the "inappropriate" buddy aid as an herioc event. It doesn't happen often. (IMHO)
SNAFU
I wonder if troop quality has anything to do with this. Most of the buddy aid I've seen takes place in a relatively quiet area...
