Pvt. Ryan
The only Flak I see in the TO&E is the 88mm. CMBO was infested with the 20mm.
Battlefront.com
Will we by chance see AA assets without the ability to engage air targets? Well, that's one reason why there aren't dedicated AAA assets in CM:BN's base game. Their primary role, in real life, was engaging aircraft. To have them on the map and NOT allow them to do that seems wrong. It would mean they would be effectively ground combat vehicles only. While that's not completely unrealistic for the Americans for most of the Western Front time period, it is definitely not for the Germans. The other reason is we want to do better with restrictions for anti-air assets. In CMBO they could switch back and forth between ground and air targets without much of an issue. They could also setup to fire pretty much right away, when in fact some vehicles required being "unbuttoned" to fire effectively. The last reason is that we already have a ton of vehicles and guns in the game and we're still trying to finish texturing and tweaking them all. Having another dozen models to do would delay the release even without the other considerations. Steve
normannobrot
Dedicated AA guns are not found in CM:BN for two reasons: 1. Plate already full with far more important vehicles and guns to add. 2. No time to add ground to air interaction this release. The interaction of ground to air in CMx1 was fairly "gamey". We want to do much better with it in CMx2. Steve thats a shame, understandable tho, was waiting for me fixed or towed 20mm,,ohwell..
