Destraex1
no mission editor no buy I'm afraid. I won't be restricted to the canned missions. A bit later usually means if this is the last expansion it will never happen.
moet
Yes for both questions. The game will have multiplayer, and you surely can play game on Windows 7. Multiplayer is a great feature that was missing with PT Boats Knights of the Sea.
Destraex1
? I played PT boats multiplayer in the original?
moet
? I played PT boats multiplayer in the original? You mean playing on LAN network, not through Internet. I did not specified that I was thinking about Internet multiplayer feature. So I understand that South Gambit will allow LAN multiplayer, but no TCP/IP, like Knights of the Sea do. Elmar Bijlsma
I've got two of my own: 1) Are the missions less straight jacketed this time? Tthe player needs to have more freedom to do what he feel is right. 2) Is there more emphasis on PT boats? I don't fancy managing cruisers and destroyers at all. Leandros
It is very exciting that the game now comes with a mission editor. My whole purpose of buying this game is to make scenarios describing probable actions during a "what-if" Operation SeaLion, the planned German invasion of England in September 1940. There's a new book on the subject coming in the US in January (I am the author). http://daleypublishing.com/sealion.htm The book-website shall give access to these scenarios. I have done most of it with the Silent Hunter III mission editor but that one is missing MTB's firing torpedoes and torpedo-dropping aircrafts. As I understand the PT mission editor shall have both these functions but not the He115 in its inventory which is a pity as this aircraft was actual as a torpedo-plane during SeaLion.
