Ziploc
Can armoured vehicles sustain damage other than crew casualties, mobility loss and main weapon knocked out? IIRC the CMBB manual suggests other systems such as optics can be knocked out yet I've never experienced anything other than the aforementioned damage effects.
umlaut
I would assume that "Gun damaged" could also cover optics being knocked out. Just as "immobilized" covers both permanent bogging and damaged tracks. Just a guess. Cheers
JoMac
My guess is that umlaut is exactly correct.
Ziploc
Certainly immobilisations can result from several sources. As for optics they become somewhat superfluous once the main cannon has been knackered! I was more interested in finding out if other bits of kit can be knocked out i.e. radios, bow machine guns, smoke mortars etc. So far in the games I've played they've proved pretty much immune to damage.
JoMac
Ziploc, Immobile, and Gun Damge are the only damages a vehicle can take in CM.
flamingknives
In the CM:X1 series, at least.
Ziploc
Thanks for confirming what I suspected.
Lt Belenko
On the old TV series COMBAT. Sarge once put a log between the lower track wheels on a tank. I think that is another method of immobilizing a tank.
