dan/california
I had some similar issues when I very first fired up 1.11, in fact I was having issues even with the battle list and so on. It is almost certainly a driver issue. Either update to the latest drivers for your card, or revert a release or two. In my case updating solved things nicely.
Battlefront.com
Probably a driver, agreed, but could possibly be something connected to an installed Mod? I don't think that's likely though. Steve

Insane Insurgent
Uh okay, what drivers do you guys recommend? And on another note, Australians shouldn't be aloud to use the internet
SlapHappy
You've accidentally installed the Black Velvet Painting terrain mod for CMSF. Don't feel too bad - Some other victims of this mod only get still screens of dogs playing cards and Elvis in Las Vegas when they boot the game.

c3k
That would be the "open the valves to the oil wells and let the imperialist Americans slip on the oil while we escape the other way" tactic. This shows the inherent realism in all BF.C's games! My real .02 would be to delete mods, update video drivers (after CORRECTLY uninstalling the existing ones), then reinstall the mods you like. Good luck! Ken

kosta
Insurgent, I had the same problem! Its all about the video drivers. I've downloaded and installed the actual driver for my graphic card (and I think correctly, first I've deleted the old one) and couldnt play anymore because of oil on the sand! Before I installed the driver all worked well except that I couldn use anti aliasing (I have a Radeon X1950 Pro). After some desperate time I deleted the new driver and installed the old again. Now it works. No idea, but I think the game doesnt cope with new graphic drivers. If you have an older driver you can try to install it, it might work then.
Lampshade111
Seems an Army tank company has been teleported to another planet. Give those alien scum hell! Odd bug, are you getting the white shell casings too? And on another note, Australians shouldn't be aloud to use the internet Well there are many more groups of people I would like to see banished from the internet first.
-Pv-
I have the X1950 with latest driver and have no problem with graphics in the game. I have been careful to use the add/remove software to remove prior software before each driver update. -Pv-
