birdstrike
Here's a small meeting engagement "Al Huqf" Style. 2 Player or either side vs. AI. 1 Platoon and 2 AFVs for each side. "Western flavored". Not for the faint of heart. The scenario can play out very fast and bloody. Lots of balconies and big windows. It's well possible most troops won't survive more than 5 minutes. So dig out that Ennio Morricone CD and get it at the CM General Store.
the Fighting Seabee
Cool, an old fashioned duel. Thanks!
Law&Order
Yay, will check this out ASAP, love small style engagements, plus it has clint, how can you go wrong with that
birdstrike
Thanks. And before someone asks... sorry, but no horses.
Darkmage
Nice scenario Birdstrike was pleased that I managed to takeout the Abrams with an RP-29. Guess a top down attack is more effective than full frontal. My ATGM took too long setting up =( is it even over minimum effective range in this small scenario?
birdstrike
The ATGM is a Saxhorn, it needs about 1 min to setup and has a minimum range of 40m. It's no Javelin, but it can be useful (and is so much more satisfying ). (EDIT: IIRC you have to deploy the weapon. Maybe that's the reason why it did not setup?) If you check out the lower left picture on the preview above, that's a missile hit. the Fighting Seabee
Birdstrike, That was a fun, quick duel map. I thought the 15 minute time limit would be too short, but I actually had a few extra minutes. Basically, you just have to rush good positions early on. Then you fight it out and use your tank to mop up. Great scenario, I had fun!
birdstrike
Thanks Yes, that's how the scenario is supposed to be played and exactly the way the AI plays it (if everything works correctly) .
Duke d'Aquitaine
Ok this was FUN. I definitely going to play this on LAN next time my wargaming buddies and I meet up. Plays almost like COD4, lol.
