[/QB] I don't think anyone got mad about Hand to Hand not being in the game. As for me resurrecting the thread, I'm just fishing for bones about things, to my knowledge, were not stated if they would ever be in the game or not. I think we got a very good bone from Moon and I am quite content.
Cpl Steiner
Steve, Moon, What about pistols? These are pretty much designed for close combat and often given to soldiers who use some sort of support weapon that might be unusable below a certain range. It would be nice to see mortar crews and the like reaching for their M9s if they have enemy coming right at them!
flamingknives
I think that most troops operating mortars and the like have M4s rather than just M9s. Pretty much the only support weapon that might fit the bill would be the M240.
Axel
In the winter war the knife became essential for us finns, because we didn't seem have enough ammo. Our special forces (Sissit, Jääkärit) used to sneak up behind russian offcers and slit their throats. Anyhow when the germans started to ship us some ammo in the continuos war we could get our artillery bombarding with full force. At least back in the days CQC was a good way of fighting.
