EricM
I was just looking thru all the scenarios I now have and realize there is a whole bunch I still haven't played. I wonder how many out there actually play all the scenarios that the download. Now I am not talking about those big Rune (I think that's the name) downloads that contain like 10 different games. I mean when you are looking through scenarios at a site and you think that one sounds like fun, so you download it. Just thought it would be fun to think about why we download and never get around to play the scenario. Eric
BloodyBucket
Time. I find most scenarios too large for the amount of time I have to spend on CM. I download them because: They are free They are fun to look at Who knows, I might play it one day Who knows how long it will be available?
SlowMotion
I add one: scenario file sizes are so small that having some extra scenarios on my HD waiting doesn't matter.
CMplayer
It's always cool to look at the maps, and maybe even rip off someone's map (for personal use only of course) Also, the well researched historical scenarios are like lessons in force composition and the like. Worth opening in the scenario editor just for that, even if you'll never have the time to play them. --Rett [ 08-08-2001: Message edited by: CMplayer ]
Agua
I've got over 800 cmb's and approximately 80 - 90 cmc's. I've probably played between 120-150 scenarios and maybe 15 of the operations. I dl them because I can. Seriously, I don't know, I enjoy the comfort of knowing I'll never run out of new scenarios and I enjoy looking at the maps. Bigdog
Well then you guys should post your review’s at the Combat Mission Scenario Depot So we all can benefit from your experience before we download and start the game [ 08-09-2001: Message edited by: Bigdog ]
Wally's World
I second Bigdog's suggestion. Great website. I have noticed the amount of reviews have picked up recently. I've done about six reviews myself and will do one for the operation I'm currently playing called "The Causeway".
