CMBB Engine Sounds

Recommended Posts

Soldiers,

Will there be anychance of CMBB including varrius engine speed sounds? Such as the low pitched crawl of tanks on the move, as opposed to the high pitched shriek of a rushing Tiger?

Well curse Thomas the tank engine for fouling up the search results, and twice curse him for all the sounds he makes smile.gif

The only thing I found after a quick look was a King Tiger starting up at Tamiya.. Quite possibly copyrighted in some way too..

There are a lot of short movie sequences of WWII armour floating around the net but one wonders if they have genuine sound...

I was fortunate to tape the sound of Panther 211 at the Carrousel in Saumur, France last Summer.

Separate sounds for some tanks would be nice smile.gif

Maybe others have taped the engine of that Panther or the T34/85 in Minneapolis (http://www.tankride.com/tankride.html) where you can go for a tank ride.

BTW my Panther engine sound can be found at my Pather site:

I read somewere, along time ago that the Germans sometimes built small fires under the engine compartments of their tanks to keep them from freezing-up. True?
