WineCape
I know the blighters, at this very moment, are having fun at Jeff Weatherspoon's part of the world in South Carolina with Matt from BFC attending - is there any news snippets from the attendees or are they still in a drunken stupor from the welcoming party?
Kingfish
I'm guessing that following last night's welcoming party they are all waiting for someone to post bail.
jeffsmith
Either I am WAY out of "the loop" or that announcment was totally "under the radar"

jwxspoon
Hey all! Pics are here! Cmvention Pics things have been fast and furious since thursday, when most of the folks began to arrive. This year we have 14 attendees here in Myrtle Beach. Having a blast so far. Yesterday (saturday) we drove down to Charleston to visit the Patriot's Point museum. Saw the aircraft carrier Yorktown, a sub, a destroyer, a coast guard cutter and a bunch of vietnam equipment and civil war cannons. Madmatt is running around like Santa Claus handing out copies of T72, Dangerous Waters, books, and juicy tidbits about BFC's upcoming projects. We have already killed one keg of beer and are working on canned beverages now, as well as Winecape's generously donated single malt scotch whiskey selection. Pics to come! jw PS - Winecape your single malt scotch is a BIG hit. The quote of hte day yesterday was "Wow! You can smell the peat burning!" Battlefront.com
When you get a chance, you need to do a Name to Face thing. The only one I recognize for sure is Matt, and that is only because of the pictures of him on the floor Oh, and what the heck is up with this pic? http://www.jwxspoon.com/cmventionweb/pages/cmventionharv%20018.htm I'm not sure what that young woman did to deserve hanging out with you lot, but man oh man... they must have some TOUGH judges down there in Myrtle Beach. Last point of curiosity... who is the dude in the Polizei shirt? Steve
Dandelion
Come to think of it Steve, how do you guys at the BFC look? Is there an introductory page displaying your happy smiles somewhere to be found? Cheers Dandelion

Dandelion
It sure turned out to be Pseudo. Charles chooses to remain enigmatic though. Always did. Cheers Dandelion

Kanonier Reichmann
It's interesting to see that when great minds gather together they inevitably gravitate towards intellectual games such as RISK! Regards Jim R.
Flenser
"RISK"? I thought that was the preview edition for CMX2.
Battlefront.com
Walpurgis Nacht, thanks for the dot connecting. I figured the "Polizei" guy was Thomas. Funny enough I just had two Schelswig-Holstein Polizei officers over my place for a visit. Purely social, not to testify for my extradition or anything (I swear!) I'll have to tell Thomas who to ask for if he gets up to no good just over the border. Oh... and blood relation... that explains everything... WineCape
This is NO evidence that the Scotch is actually kaput. Ask a lawyer. We don't want a-bottle-half-empty reasoning as Steve has repeatedly mentioned on this forum...

jwxspoon
The trip home was fine. It was the 4 days of little sleep, on a diet of red meat, donuts, and beer that's still causing me some trouble.Odd, that diet works for me 365 days a year. I'd submit any distress is caused by your exposure to more than 10 minutes of sunlight per day jw
