Boo Radley
Nidan, for you, it ranks right up there with walking upright. (I would have said walking erect but... well, why rub his nose in it?)

That's low, even for the gang of yappers that normally inhabits the place. I would instead compare you to the twin of a rock. Or a pine needle. Or maybe a boll weevil. Berli assures me, Shakespearean aficionado that he is, that there will be no versifications by Dalem in Hell. 'Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished for... Boo Radley
I'm no good at crouching. Bad knees, dontchaknow. I lounge quite well, though. And I enjoy staring into the fire while sipping a single malt. It brings another dimension to the chiaroscuro of the flames. "It ascends me into the brain; dries me there all the foolish and dull and curdy vapours which environ it; makes it apprehensive, quick, forgetive, full of nimble fiery and delectable shapes, which, delivered o'er to the voice, the tongue, which is the birth, becomes excellent wit." It is indeed my Muse. I disagree that it is the season of death. I prefer to think of it as the season of rest before rebirth. But then, that could be because I was raised in the fertile valleys of Ohio while you were brought up on the bleak and windswept tundras of Minnesota. I know that Joe doesn't appreciate me. But that's okay. If he is Don Quixote and I am Sancho Panza, of the two, who had their head screwed on better? See? I stay because I find him ... amusing. But enough reflection. Enough staring into the weaving flames and discussing all that the gods keep hidden from our eyes to safeguard their secrets. Campfires have other uses, too. They need to be danced around! Break out the balalaikas!
