Has anybody developed limiting rules for CMBB?

Recommended Posts

Nope. Even being merely weeks old, however, I can see their virtue.

With QB so easy, and seeming to be a 'standard', some well thought out criteria for picking forces *would* be a boon. The best criteria would be those that created the largest pool of viable forces for any given battle, IMO. Would take knowledge of exactly how each unit (especially armor and gun) interact, what kills what none, some, all the time, etc.

Of course, being a lazy sod, I'm not doing it.

If they're so simple, why not just post them for the whole world to enjoy?

Yes, I've already come up with one "by agreement" optional rule for QBs with player choice of forces. "No heavies". Bans the KVs and Tigers, which in their early periods practically can't be penetrated and so decide meeting engagements merely by the date. A simple rule, and gets rid of the leading cause of "aggrevated cowering". It is best with a regular opponent, one you play a series of fights with, because it cuts different ways at different dates.

I tried but they won't copy from the e-mail where I store them, into the "post reply" box,and I'm too lazy to type them out into the box by hand! Any advice on how to paste stuff into the box?

Meantime anybody can just e-m me for a copy like I said smile.gif
