Billy Prior
I'm new. I recognise historical scenarios are sometimes inevitably unbalanced. That said, I want to avoid wasting precious leisure time playing unbalanced and ahistorical scenarios. I gather 'Wittmann in the East' is one such scenario. Any others I should look out for? Thanks in anticipation!
JonS
To The Volga is very good, and balanced.
ParaBellum
Although I think it could use some more troops. I hate those small skirmishes on tiny maps. BTW one of my own winter war scenarios has been praised in the past for both its historical accuracy and playbility. It features one lone finish tank hunter (Sergei) (low on ammo and morale) surrounded by a brigade of elite T-34s. Corvidae
Billy, By all means play it. "Wittmann in the East" is a deeply inacurate depiction of soviet AT capability for the summer of 43, But please do play it ,, as soviets , If only for the challenge,

A quick look at the units seems to favour the Allies? Cheers
Kineas
Some sites keep record of the scenario statistics, e.g. on theblitz.org you can pick up scenarios which give equal chances for each side to win. Balance depends on player skill too. If ahistorical is an option, I recommend playing QBs on human made maps.
John Kettler
Billy Prior, Play Trappenjagd, preferably against a human. Gear is mix of early and mid war, the ground complex and demanding. Played it as the Russians vs. NG cavscout as the Germans. What a brawl! Regards, John Kettler
