L.Tankersley
More than a year in the making*, Mapping Mission 1.11 is now available for download. You can grab it here: Mapping Mission v1.11 This version fixes a bug that could cause the program to crash or exhibit aberrant behavior. It also adds support for operations maps oriented north-to-south. * - well, it's been more than a year since the last update was released. Actual time spent on this version is hours, not days, weeks, or months.
Double Deuce
Quick question. Is it set up to work with CMAK now?
L.Tankersley
No, sorry. There have been too many other demands on my free time to devote the block of effort needed to get CMAK support in place.
junk2drive
DD If you can use MM to make a map in CMBB, it can be converted to CMAK with Pyewacket's Map Converter Tool. email me if you need help with MCT.
McAuliffe
Wonderful tool, Thanks Tankersley! I am able also to re-open the files, I saved under 1.10. which I was unable to access again in the previous version. But, now I am facing some problems in order to export same maps to CMBO. I will check again with CMBB.
McAuliffe
Sorry Tankersley, but version 1.10 seems not be able to open saved maps, while version 1.11 is not able to export maps to CM. Maybe, someone has still version 1.09 that should be able to do both
Sergei
McAuliffe, what exactly goes wrong when you try it? 1.11 works for me just fine, so maybe there's some parameter thingy or something.
McAuliffe
Sergei, I designed the map with CMBO options selected and use also the CM-elevations (0-19) When I export the map- CMBO editor is running - the map size in the CMBO editor is adjusted, but then only the first column of height values is imported and the system hangs. I tried various speeds and delays but no joy. If you want to have a look at it, I will send you the map.file. I have an ACER Travelmate 800 1300 mhz OS Windows XP ATI 9000 radeaon mobility
