Col Deadmarsh
I didn't know friendly mines would activate on friendly units. It doesn't say this in the manual so it came as a shock when I just blew my own infantry unit to smithereens. I just assumed they'd be able to pass right over it. Does this hold true for vehicles too?
Kurtz
I think your sig says all that needs to be said.
Juju
Hehheh. Last week was the first time I noticed that friendly vehicles shouldn't drive over frindly AT mines either.
Pvt. Ryan
Friendly units will avoid their own mines if possible, but if they run panicked into a minefield they can take casualties, or if you force a vehicle over mines it can get damaged. Buckeye
Um, just how would a mine know the difference between a friendly and enemy soldier? You walk on 'em (or drive on 'em, if it's an AT mine), and they go BOOM! A mine's like a dumb blonde...it goes off for any guy without thinking. Vanir Ausf B
In a recent PBEM my opponent drove a jeep into one of his own minefields. Every time I loaded a turn I chuckled at that plume of smoke rising from behind his lines
