Four Stringer
I recently stumbled across this site. It is quite informative, and has some in depth information on the dreaded/beloved Panzerfaust, and many other German small arms. I thought some of you may enjoy it. Happy Friday the 13th. http://www.geocities.com/Augusta/8172/panzerfaust.htm ------------------ I used to have a life, now I have CM. Four Stringer
. . . and yes, I had to go back and edit this message twice. Wow, this Friday the 13th stuff is for real. Good thing my Y2K bunker is still well stocked.
Jadayne
wow. what a great site! If BTS is ever planning on doing a weapon-unit database/description in future versions of CM, maybe they should give this guy a call. Interesting stuff about the ranges... Guest Silesian-jaeger
Believe it or not there is one for sale at a surpluss store near me! ------------------ "In one (German) town, Private Honey stood next to an elderly German man and a ten-year-old boy. As the Shermans and brand-new Pershings rumbled by the boy said,'Deutsches Panzer lind besser.' Honey looked down at him and asked,'If German tanks are better, why aren't they here?' Pvt. Ryan
If you really want to know more about the panzerfaust, just buy your own: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=467216143
Bastables
You'd be surprised but the author of the page M.Hofbauer used to be a regular poster here and frequents MadMatts CM chat server. A pretty good guy too. ------------------ From the jshandorf "Why don't we compare reality to the game like Bastables likes to do all the time?" Mr T's reply "Don't touch me FOO!" KLilly
Hey, I live in L.A. A panzerfaust would come in really handy on the freeway. What with SUV's and such, the old Colt really doesn't impress people anymore.

:USERNAME:
Is that a panzerfaust 60 on ebay? I see the sights go to 80m.
Pvt. Ryan
I don't know what model it is, but you can ask the seller. He also has a potato masher for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=467173244
Tiger
My dad has a Walther PPK pistol he wants to sell me for $600 (thanks Dad! ). It's a WWII trophy and he has the paperwork and also one box of the silver-tipped ammo for it. It's even got 2 tiny nazi-eagle symbols on the side. Somewhat pitted and the handles are authentic but a bit rough. I asked him about the panzerfaust on ebay and he thinks $250 is too much for it since they made hundreds of thousands of them. -john
Pvt. Ryan
Maybe your dad can put the Walther up for sale on E-Bay so you can bid along with everyone else. I don't think I would pay $250 for a panzerfaust. You don't need a shaped charge to penetrate the sheet metal on most cars on the freeway.
