PEB14
I'm trying to figure out what the surrendering/panicking Germans Piweltrüppen scream in all WW2 CM games. Sounds like "Renzug" to my ears, which doesn't mean anything in German...
Brille
As a native german speaker I say that it is most likely "Rückzug! ", which means "retreat!" in english.
Kevin2k
That would be sound file "german withdraw 1.wav" and variant 2+3.
PEB14
Rückzug!! Danke schön meine Herren. I think we miss the "Kamerad! Kamerad!" sound file for surrendering troops, repeatedly reported by Allied troops !
Dr.Fusselpulli
"Rückzug, zieht euch zurück" It's absolutely correct... but the guy calling in Artillery support sounds like he got captured in eastern Europe and pressed into service.

Only because you English speakers can't pronounce it that well. Same with our "Umlaute" (Ä, Ö, Ü) Wonder why we needed an enigma back then when we already had this. The fact that I speak English for the last 57 years doesn't make me a native speaker. I didn't have much of a problem in Switzerland the last time I used German on a daily basis. I admit the spelling is lousy, but I follow German YouTube movies OK. German is I admit one of the main European languages.
