This is a great victory , but I am shocked by the Wounded-to-killed ratios

If you're sitting inside a BMP or BTR when it goes up, the chance of survival is pretty low - they're tough to get out of quickly, and full of explosive and burning things.

Weapons tend to be rather more powerful in Cold War than in WW2 - calibres are higher, more automatic weapons and the like. You'll see similar casualty figures to the WW2 titles in pure infantry combat, but when you start mechanising things the figures can shoot up significantly (or reduce significantly, if you are doing things properly, and using the advantages in protection and mobility offered).

No, it's not, but not a statistical impossibility either.

But then, Combat Mission has always been overly lethal in the combat results due to it's nature. It's really like a cage match in a sense.

This.  When you are playing the game you have already filtered for the top 1% most lethal contact situations, and then you play out that scenario with both sides typically being far more willing to be aggressive and accept casualties than they would in reality.

Yeah but the thread is about why there are 310 kia and 9 wia for the entire battle. No survivors from apfsds or whatever was being shot?

I mean it's possible if they were all mounted and the vehicle cooked off on impact. TOW missiles do bad things to BMPs and BTRs.
