Is Marines TOW LAV-AT-2 IR modelled correctly

Playing scenario Breakout from the Marines campaign and the TOW vehicles (Humvee too I think) don’t see hardly anything at night compared to standard LAV. Is this correct?

The TOW LAV's thermals have been broken since release, with no sign of any fix coming.

Ok. That seems …. surprising. Thanks for letting me know. Has the thermals on the humvee also been flagged as an issue?

It's not really surprising, BFC just rarely releases patches in something that can reasonably be called a timely manner.

@Chibot Mk IX is right that the thermal on the TOW humvee is on the launcher itself, so unless the gunner is turned out they won't use the thermal optic.

I'm not sure about the IR on a LAV, but as far as the HUMVEE TOW mount I know firsthand that if the vehicle is moving it's impossible to look thru the sights, it doesn't matter if it's the day or IR sights. You can only track when the vehicle isn't moving.

To put the sights into a better perspective, try to look thru the scope of a rifle while you are in a moving vehicle. It would be almost impossible to hit a target but remember that with the TOW on the HUMVEE the entire unit would be in lock, so nothing would be moving until the vehicle slowed down or stopped. It was even worse when the TOW System was on the M151 Jeep.
