Lower the headcount to 70% the supply to limited, motivation to low some of the unit experience to conscript or green to show the difference between conscript and contract Russian troops etc. Maybe fitness to weakened if the scenario has them out of supply for weeks at the scenarios beginning etc. Set ground conditions to muddy etc. There are many possibilities with the Combat Mission editor.
