John Kettler Posted September 14, 2021 Share Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) This is a smart submunition which uses a SFF/EFP to defeat an armored target detected as the spinning submunition scans the ground with its sensor while descending. It is the direct equivalent of similar US systems. John Kettler Posted September 14, 2021 Author Share Posted September 14, 2021 Bufo, Sorry for any confusion, but when I was in military aerospace, we had three different terms we used, none of which was EFP: plate charge, Misznay-Schardin Device and SFF (Self-Forging Fragment).
