Kinophile
Great stuff! But what does this look like at night?
Erwin
Sorry if this is a dumb question. But, where does one put all the files and folders (like MACOSX etc)?
BarbaricCo
Just delete MACOSX folder. It is shown when unziping on Windows archive that is ziped on Mac.
Erwin
Thanks. So all other folders and files go into the Mod folder?
BarbaricCo
Thanks. So all other folders and files go into the Mod folder? Installation:Mac- Close Your CM Application- Right click “CM Black Sea.app” and select “Show Package Contents”.- Go to “Contents/ Resources/ Data”, create a new folder and name it “z”.- Place the unzipped “War_Movie_ADVANCED_mode_shadersPack_ v1” folder in “z” folder. PC- Close Your CM Application- Go to CMBS Data folder (e.g. C:/Program Files (x86)/ Battlefront/ Combat Mission Black Sea/ Data), create a new folder and name it “z”.- Place the unzipped “War_Movie_ADVANCED_mode_shadersPack_ v1” folder in “z” folder. It's in ReadMe.rtf file. Does this worked for You?
z1812
I thought I would give you some feedback on my experience. The effect is stunning in CMBS but does not work so well in the other games. Alot of the colours in the other games look washed out. Or the shading is not balanced when panning a unit. The side reflecting the sun is quite washed out.But as I say it is great for CMBS.

For CMFI I made a little bit toned down version so you can try it for other games.https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yk6l41dkpcjm47s/AAA2eRrMdnoF2-xif9a1Iq9ya?dl=0

Euri
You have to shorten the file names. Widows has problem unziping the files due to very long path directories
BarbaricCo
You have to shorten the file names. Widows has problem unziping the files due to very long path directoriesOMG?! I even checked this on google and found that from Windows 98 (1998. !?) file names can have 256 characters?
Euri
Something like that. And from what I understood the characters of the full path count.
BarbaricCo
Quick fix for Windows users who can’t unzip documents:www.youtube.com/watch?v=60aQwGvC5Bs Basically You move .zip document to desktop and unzip it there. Then shorten manually long file names if it’s still don’t want to copy to “z” folder. Euri
Strange thing: when I turn on your movie mod, it is as if antialising goes off and vehicle edges become jagged. If I am to normal mode, AA works fine. I set the AA on from the game settings. I am on nvidia, some earlier drivers that work just fine.
BarbaricCo
@Euri Yes. Opt-M (War movie) shaders mode doesn’t work with antialiasing by default and there is nothing I can do there. If You don’t play it at desktop resolution there is no help. Anyway, I made little experiment and You can read it more here:http://community.battlefront.com/topic/120795-fxshine-shader/?do=findComment&comment=1633064

BarbaricCo
@Euri I think on PC at least You can force antialiasing in ATI and NVidia control panel community.battlefront.com/topic/121227-amd-graphics-settings#comment-1639230
