Question on re-supply

Hi all, i have a quick question on re-supply, i have looked through the manual but cant find anything regarding this situation.  What i would like to know is if there is any way to un-acquire stuff.  In my last battle i accidently got a squad to pick up 2000 rnds of 7.62 when i actually wanted them to pick up 5.56 so is there any way to tell them to put the 7.62 back.

Doc, unfortunately no.  They get rid of it by expending it.

One day, we'll get a proper inventory system... Maybe. What CMx2 gave us was a step in the right direction, and Supply Platoons is another, but there's a lot of room for refinement and expansion. Maybe cross-decking will get included in a patch, since it was a hoped-for addition recently...

Hopefully one day we may have the ability to ACQUIRE from adjacent units (not solely from a vehicle).

It takes time to ACQUIRE in RL.  However, there could be a DELAY of some kind where units should not be given any move orders before ammo/weapons are transferred (or the transfer ceases with only partial transfer of materiels).

Perhaps the more ammo and weapons transferred the longer the delay.  That would be a very useful enhancement.

A bit like the enforced hold-in-place while Buddy Aid is being done.
