Soldat-Hans
I may be a little bit accurately, but the Germans learned, to take their Rifle/mp,... in the right hand while sprinting. http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/236x/66/2a/a3/662aa37023aac9a96932779228e55207.jpg http://www.dw.de/overlay/overlay_image/s-1432/c-2753417/1043479 http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_oIAhQMTG-dU/TBOC_MOl61I/AAAAAAAAFIE/SVZYBdZIueM/s1600/german-soldiers-wehrmacht-ww2-second-world-war-rare-pictures-images-006.jpg would be awesome to see this ingame.
Mord
This has been brought up many times, so you aren't alone. My guess is we'll see it at some point, probably when they update the animations. Mord.
BradinAus
I have another question about modeling. Will the Soviets show as constantly wearing helmets? Many Soviets did not wear their helmets and preferred going into combat wearing a pilotka or other soft hat like the ushanka.
Sergei
I have another question about modeling. Will the Soviets show as constantly wearing helmets? Many Soviets did not wear their helmets and preferred going into combat wearing a pilotka or other soft hat like the ushanka. What is the basis for this idea? Wearing helmets has generally been mandatory since WW1 when shrapnel starts flying, barring extremely cold weather where you have other considerations.

Yes quite right and particularly the reconnaissance formations.

para
Has there been addition to the animations?
Broadsword56
And it would have been cool and realistic for some of the Soviets to have bedrolls instead of those potato-sack packs on their backs. Maybe for a future module or pack?
BradinAus
What is the basis for this idea? Wearing helmets has generally been mandatory since WW1 when shrapnel starts flying, barring extremely cold weather where you have other considerations. Oh yes it was mandatory but amongst many Soviet soldiers they tried to wear their helmet as little as possible as it was unmanly. Often they used the helmet just as washbowl. Of course, when the shrapnel started flying you would want a helmet. Plenty of photos of Red Army soldiers wearing pilotkas in battle, just like there are many of them wearing helmets, it depends on the situation.
