baron Jacquinot
Hello. Today I add new oak leaf B helmet cover which I made from original texture, delete oak leaf A cover, and change color of oak leaf B smock, so it looks like it burn down on sun during the many battles. You can download update on Cmmods 1 hour later.
Erwin
Your idea of "burn down" is good. Makes the uniforms look worn. Too many times they look quite new. I plan to copy your "burn down" mods and replace many of the new-look mods with them. But I note that you call it SS v2, and you already have an SS v2. Or at least I have one that I think is yours - it looks very similar. Would be helpful if you call it v3(??) So we should just replace the old v2 with this new one?

Erwin
Does this also replace the WAFFEN SS BLUR files you did? I love your work, but I now have so many of your uniform mods am completely confused if I need to keep some of the earlier ones, or if you have compiled everything into the two new 12SS and DAS REICH uniform files available yesterday at CMMODS. Can we delete ALL your previous SS Uniform mods, or are some of them still used/useful?

Can we delete ALL your previous SS Uniform mods, or are some of them still used/useful? When I did update I change some files and of course keep files which don't was changed, so you just replace new .brz file on old. If you don't like previous SS Uniform mods you can delete them, I make 4 base mods - 1) waffenSScamo, 2) 12SS version1, 3) 12SS version2, 4) DasReich. You can use 1 of these mods, or change them when you play different missions. Difference between mods - 1) WaffenSScamo - my first mod which include many types of SS camouflage. 2) 12SS - uniform of 12SS pzdiv HitlerJugend, which have 2 versions with different types of plane tree, blurred edges, and helmet covers. 2) DasReich - same mode like a 12SS version 2 but without Italian camo patterns, better to use with Das Reich, Totenkopf or Hohenstaufen divisions.

Erwin
Does this replace the "DAS REICH SS CAMO and MIX" (of 2/11/13 and 8/27/13), or is it simply another variant and we should keep all?

Erwin
I keep useful mods in an UNUSED MODS folder. So, it makes a difference if a mod is completely obsolete and can be permanently deleted from one's HD, or simply a variant that should be saved in case of future need.
baron Jacquinot
This update replace DasReich mod not 12SS, if you don't like 12SS or Italian camo pattern you must download it again and overwrite on old file, or you can explode brz file and add new uniform in manual regime.

Aragorn2002
Reminds me of CMBO and CMBB. For me details make all the difference, nothing better than fighting an Authie battle with a 12th SS uniform mod or a Wilkowischken battle with a GD mod.

Erwin
Baron: How do these new mod mixes work with the "SS CAMO Blurred edge early type" and "WAFFEN SS BLUR" mods? Should we only have one of your uniform mods in the Z folder, or do they somehow work together?
baron Jacquinot
Blurred edge early type was include in 12SS version2 and Das reich. What is WaffenSS BLUR? Now I use 12SS version2 and DasReich mod because they looking good with Aris terrain mod, I think you can delete others. No, you can't use in one time 2 of my SS mods. You can use together 1 SS mod and Wehrmacht mod.
Erwin
Thanks. That's good to know. I need to start permanently deleting mods that either are obsolete, or no longer work with the latest patches/versions. It's hard to figure out which those are.
Buzz
Erwin - "I need to start permanently deleting mods that either are obsolete, or no longer work with the latest patches/versions." Should be an "app" for that
