The first german standing on the left kills the first to the right (the HMG).In front of them, not very close, one man with a pistol that has no time to shoot.
Ithikial_AU
A video may help clarify the situation but I doubt your men are executing their own buddies. My money is on you were receiving fire from another unit, even if your troops couldn't see it. Maybe a sniper or other long range rifle fire.
agusto
That is what happens when Wehrmacht soldiers get caught giving each other that special type of "buddy aid" we 've seen in the screenshot thread, remember? The german army wasnt really tolerant about such things back then.
orgit
If I have understood Agusto agree with me, and there is not mistake. It already happen to me but I was not sure. Now I have no doubt and it is quite annoying. The image was taken from a save map of a scenario that is under test.So I perfectly know where all men are because I am playing as scenario author test and I think someone should try to fix it.
Sequoia
Agusto is making a joke, but if you have a save of the game at that point a beta tester might be interested.
orgit
In any case, it is as I said and I still have the save game.
MG TOW
pretty sure friendly units are not affected by their own bullets other than suppression. Ithikial has it right
LUCASWILLEN05
Friendly Fire ISN'T. Though it might be possible n this game I am not certain I have ever seen it.

c3k
Agreed. If you have a savegame, is it single-player, or hotseat? If you are serious about looking into this situation you have a few choices. Single player: Check your casualty level before that turn, then at the end of that turn. Load the previous turn. Ceasefire. Go through every enemy "kill stat". Load the "murder" turn. Ceasefire. Go through every enemy "kill stat". Kill stat 2 should be one greater than kill stat 1. (Meaning, every single enemy unit has to have their kills added up.) Hotseat: similar, but you can directly check ammunition expenditure. Is some enemy shooting at the Germans? That would probably account for it. A screenshot doesn't show the problem. orgit
First of all thanks for your replies. As I have said, it is a map under test and also to me seems strange but at the moment I have not another explanation, so as soon as I have uploaded the map I can send the save and the map at any who want to find an explanation.

I do not believe you need to wait for the map to be ready. The saved game has everything needed. After all you can start a scenario that is only on your machine and send a turn to a PBEM opponent without any problems.
