MRoadster
Norton keeps blocking and quarantining MH690A even though I ask it to be restored. Furthermore, I can't access CM Fortress Italy.exe because Norton is categorizing it is as a virus. Ugh.
MikeyD
Its generally considered by CM players playing previous titles that Norton is put out by Satan himself.
MRoadster
Got around it looking back in the forums. Forgot I had to do this with the Commonwealth module. Frustrating issue with Norton's detection routine.
Nidan1
Go into your Norton security history, bring up the item MH690A, restore and exclude the file and all will be well.
Moon
As with Commonwealth, there is zero reason for Norton to do this. The game is properly signed by us and doesn't even do anything special other than using a little encryption. But then, Norton had blocked its own website for me back when I got it preinstalled on a new PC and tried to contact their support about how to get rid of it. Happy on an iMac now. Mord
After you exclude the file restart your comp. It should work. I had to exclude it and then Norton quarantined it again. So, I excluded it AGAIN, then restarted and everything was peachy. Mord.
Reaper28
All i had to do was disable norton for 15 min then install. Then instead of just removing the file it shows a pop up in the corner about the file click on it and then another pop up is shown where u just exclude it.
Offshoot
This is the third piece of software in the space of a couple of weeks I have heard this happening with. Why do people persist in using Nortons, especially when MS themself provides for free a very serviceable antivirus program?
