Having played the original trio of games, some 20 years ago, I vaguely remember something about BFC having given ownership/copyrights/distribution rights of scenarios to players who designed them. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this, or elaborate - and, is this still true for the newer games?

Typically, of course, publishers/developers reserve all rights to anything made for their games, so I'm wondering what BFC's policy is in regard to user-made scenarios, maps, and so on.

Yes I think that is correct. You buy the rights to play the game and make scenarios. I think it stops people selling their keys to use the game.

They may help with tactics opposing Soviet advances, which in the AI scripting are pretty well based on how it's described here. Any fans of Flashpoint Campaigns (either Red Storm or Southern Storm) may also find them useful there - easier to see the larger scale Soviet organization unfold.

    Enjoy.

Thank you very much for this. It is very useful indeed.

I didnt mean it like that, i meant the quality of the game.... meaning how fun it is etc.

I played Red Thunder since it came out. It is close to Ten Years that works out on $2/ Week. Very cheap entertainment. Still discover new stuff. Need to do plenty of reading about tactics and doctrine and play accordingly. It has a long learning cycle.

Yeah, im figuring stuff out right now financial wise. And yea 60 bucks aint a small price for a game at all. BUT the quality does come in too, it is a great game. But ay some day maybe (new years eve hopefully😅)

You need to understand that none of us own the game you buy only the right to play it. We can't sell a game we don't use. In that case you could have my Black Sea game but technically I don't own it. I have the key number but I can't sell it.

    First things first.

You will have two million refugees. Gaza is infiltrated probably since the Camp David agreement. Egypt didn't want the area for good reason. I can't see how it will be tolerated any longer a new generation of fanatics will be raised there.

I simply can't believe they've missed this. Not sure what that implies, but I just can't.

You had the 'Police Actions' in Indonesia the problem they used the Dutch army. You need a police force for domestic matters. Armies are to reinforce foreign policies. The reason Russia is not doing great in Ukraine using an army trained to breach the Fulda Gap while they claim special operations. Police uses a decent network of informers something the Germans excelled at during WW2. Naturally police don't follow the rules of war.

Interesting explanation to the accident of private jet traveling cross borders. I assume those hand grenades were purchased at the Duty Free Zones in Russia prior departure. Otherwise, we all know the rules, no grenades in hand luggage unless purchased after check in.

They have years and years experience shooting down airliners.

Indeed. I don't dislike Biden, but for Heaven's sake, wasn't there a younger, more mobile candidate in that huge country? And a colored lady as vice president. No problem in most Western European countries, but how many Americans will NOT vote for her, because she's black AND a woman? Sounds like a recipy for disaster to me.

I was there when Trump was the president and funny enough most people didn't talk about politics in the local bar. If it hadn't been for Covid he would have been reelected. He blames the Chinese most of all and most Americans are not racist was the definite expression I had. But that was California with a strong Latin influence. No, I felt completely at home there, San Diego was much like Perth West Australia weather wise. I think state politics play a bigger role than most people outside the US realize. That was my opinion when I was there. 2nd Amendment sporting store in San Francisco had all the goodies for sale and that is one of the strictest states in US. In my view a proper run store with all the securities in place.

Only because you English speakers can't pronounce it that well.

The fact that I speak English for the last 57 years doesn't make me a native speaker. I didn't have much of a problem in Switzerland the last time I used German on a daily basis. I admit the spelling is lousy, but I follow German YouTube movies OK. German is I admit one of the main European languages.
