It might be somewhat of a TACTICAL bug though
Otherwise the flail won't operate. Just visit the pictures on this link.

I had some fun and learnt a bit with QBs when I started.
And then came the battle where I was confronted by 9 AI-selected Sherman flail tanks all clearing the road (with turrets turned to the rear) as they advanced towards my Jagdtiger and its friends. That got messy very quickly and I think I moved away from QBs shortly afterwards.
Flail tanks operate with their guns pointed at the rear when the flails are operating. Not a game bug.

A Cannon Fodder Scout Team improves the spotting ability of an SU by 30% according a tester on this forum.

It is possible to choose between formations like column, line, wedge in the movement ?
thanks
You need to take note of how the teams naturally split up after plotting a move order. Example two men scout team split up and each take a position around the corner of a building.

Does bombardment/mission length affect accuracy?
I think once you hear fire for effect the FO's mission is complete. Before all of the mission's munitions can be wasted on spotting rounds.

Did you experience any weird evade behavior on the small hill at the Soviet right wing?
No I used the halftracks as IFVs. Once dismounted the squads started to take casualties. Once the Soviets were suppressed they dismounted to clear the woods of tentative contacts. So against infantry the halftracks provide good cover. Once they get some penetrations from AT Rifles the code in the game make them reverse. Against a squad of infantry the Germans will win if they stay in their halftracks. Soviet Maxims and AT rifles are a problem for them.

Sure I read in the manual some time ago that weapons below .50 calibre cannot cause friendly casualties just suppression. Larger weapons can cause casualties, unless this as changed recently.
I tested rifle calibre ammunition against units inside buildings and the effect is neglectable. It was area fire at best you cause a little suppression.

For an ambush you need prior intel and the objective could be anything. Examine the bodies for more intel or just destroy the enemy unit or see it as a spoiling attack.

A Debt Repaid main tactic was to use the German Halftracks as an IFV. Occupied all objectives and with 57 minutes left called a ceasefire. Major Victory.

BS is just not worth playing it is a hypothetical game and biased US No 1 Russia No 2 Ukraine No3 and no expansion pack is planned to rectify this. Kudos for the WW2 games it is where BF shines and we really enjoy playing it. FI is the next game I will buy.

Yes, thermal sights are nice but they need a decent AC too. Otherwise no fresh air.

Yes if you did tabletop wargaming with Airfix you saw how much variety the Germans had. It was fun to play as Germans even then.

Bogged four-wheel drive vehicles it takes easy 30 minutes to free it using a 2nd vehicle. In the game after a few turns it becomes immobilized which is realistic.

If this topic has probably been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find an answer to my question.
Only original crew can remount a vehicle. If you can dismount anybody can mount a vehicle. But if the only option is Bail Out only the original crew can remount as crew.

Germany and Japan
The big difference is Japan carried out a preemptive strike and Germany declared war on the US. Not much choice there. After the war international contracts were signed in US$, to keep it the US played for Sheriff internationally.

After Black Sea I have enough of anything hypothetical. The truth is always stranger as fiction.

I agree for 100% SE Asia is more humid so your forces may tire sooner.

I know fully well how to look for books on the internet. However, I think it is BF's responsibility to publish a more professional manual for its customers. My beef with MGs I should be able to do area fire (plunging and grazing fire). Now when you don't have LOS with a tile because of for example a wheatfield you get a No-LOS pop up. I look for a manual which shows how to do these common tactics. Happy gaming, this was just one example splitting squad inside a vehicle is another. There is a way around it but not up to us to advice other players how they should play the game.

he Graviteam Tactics Mius-Front game you bought but didn't have the patience to get into thoroughly?
Looked at it and uninstalled it. Factors it is not the WeGo system I enjoy with Combat Mission. I think I buy Fortress Italy modern warfare is not for me I am afraid. SF2 I need to be in the mood. I definitely I am a WW2 player, happy gaming. I won't do much for the next few months as I am relocating. Looks like I need to invest in Starlink for internet.

What will happen to licensing when you shut down?
Same as my CM1 games. Overtime they become useless.

Right now a 1st class manual of how to play this game properly. From Battle for Normandy to Black Sea. Manuals with doctrines for the time frame. With references which YouTube videos are recommended. Example Red Thunder change name of a scenario with the purpose getting more TRP to plan on Map Barrage near the end of the game for example.
Returning --- Question about SP + QB?

Testing is the other one and also for people who are absolutely new playing the game.
