I'd much rather see CM:SF2 thoroughly patched and brought closer to the CM:BS timeline.
I would rather see CMSF go down the sink.

Yes I think it does. You can't comment on their forums unless you have a steam account. Which you get if you have a steam key.
To get an account on Steam you don't have to get a key to any game. Sign up is free.

ahhh, that special feeling when the javelin hits and your team survives, so very satisfying
Well this happens 100% of the time, so it is nothing special.

Woah woah woah, can you explain this further please?
I guess he's talking about this one (from the official CM discord):

Strange, I found lots, starting from Yom Kippur and onward to the recent fighting in Syria.....Just none where I could see the imprint of tail fins.
Its not the fins that make it, but the rocket engine casing, it makes a ring like impression. (ATGMs, not RPGs)

None at all.....Suggests it's kind of an uncommon phenomenon then?
No, it is common. Just nobody makes high quality close up pictures of ATGM post -hit signatures. Nobody of the ordinary soldiers.

Can you show me an image, I've never noticed it.

I think that's actually APFSDS rounds dude:
? This is completely different. Another thing.
I could also tell about these as well, they leave different marks depending on armor thickness.

UPDATE
It seems like it works again with version 21.12.1!

Seems like it continues through the truck even after exploding?
The tail section continues forward thanks to its momentum; the same thing happens with ATGMs, after a hit the tail section leaves an impression on the armor that is visible to the naked eye.

ETA on the Steam version being updated?
For anyone wondering in the case of Black Sea patch 2.16, it took them 32 days (after it was released here) to push the update on Steam.
So you can expect patch 1.03 sometimes in December. Maybe Christmas?

I've been following the progress of this game and played demo.
Like the philosophy behind the project - blend simulation and fun in the right proportion - but the demo didn't impress me that much. Too arcadish for me.
Controls are indeed arcadish, but projectile, armor and behind armor effect simulations are not.

Oh dbsapp you really are the Pvt Sad Sack of CMCW.
Let's see how Grey_Fox does as he is really acing the campaign so far. Msn 3 is tough, maybe the toughest of the campaign. You have the lowliest MRB of the MRR up against stacked odds. Good news is that on the Standard Campaign if you lose you still get a shot at Msn 4. And on March or Die we did tweak it.
Presenting good results is only a matter of save scumming, it doesn't prove anything.

More like the commander - being aware of where the wagon is and what is going on around it and then telling the driver where to go, stop and start as a result of said observations is a big part of commanding an AFV.
You assume there was a commander inside... I don't know what they were doing, but this is not always the case. If they just need the tank to go around so for example infantry can practice things, a single driver suffices.
