Is there any chance someone can upload the pdf of the manual supplement for the FR module? I like skimming them before buying a title, and for some reason they haven't done that lately. I'd "trade" the manual for RtV, but I'm not on my computer that has it installed at the moment.

As an aside, I thought the quality of the manuals has really improved lately. The Black Sea manual did a great job explaining formations (which I'd like to see for all title) and the RtV manual charted the availability and fighting quality of the multitude of nations and forces that fought in Italy, really great stuff.

    Sent.

Do you know you can buy it on Battlefront's website and you get a key when it is released on Steam? Wouldn't have to wait then.

    MMM

I want to add that on steam the price depends on where one lives. For example CMCW is 47£ in the UK but only 5£ in Turkey (and also only titles already on steam get discounted ever).

How about a variant background for late 2024.....After a series of unfortunate border incidents, the Mexican government purchases Iskander & S-400 systems from Russia and invites Russia to establish a series of military bases accross the country.  :o

Wonder how that one might play out?  ;)

How about Scotland inviting Russians to help fight for freedom?

    Oh, ok. *Flies away*

I tried it and it it seemed too fast paced for me and too arkadish, like command and conquer games, which is not necessary a bad thing of course.

It is very far away from a Command and Conquer game. If we look at them, I would say it is as far away from it as it is far away from CM.

Anyway, the 10v10 tactical battles are very fun. In these low point battles you only control a few units, and it is easy to micromanage them - yet because of having 10 people on each side you have a nice battle going on and the battlespace is not empty.

You also feel like you are part of something and your actions matter.

Anyway, although it is arcadish, all weapons and weapon systems have the same task as in real life.

The inserted rounds look very odd. I don't recognize them. I'm half convinced its a Vasilek 82mm mortar round strapped to an RPG rocket motor(?). Unless that's a repurposed HE round for the 73mm gun on the BMP-1. An expedient salvo mortar, it seems.

Yeah they look like OG-9 grenades (for BMP-1 and SPG-9)
