No, the first battle features troops from the 43rd (Wessex) Division. For the rest of the campaign you will be using 11th Armoured Division, with perhaps some supporting elements from other units.
Both this campaign, and the Battle Pack that it comes from was the work of Jon Sowden. By and large I think he did an excellent job, just a shame about the missing troops in this particular mission. I wish I could remember the exact name of the thread that dealt with your problem, but it was a few years ago.

Cool game.
Hot pics.

I think the H35 was just in CMBO, they had a starring role in the "La Fiere" battle. Which I thought was great fun to play.

If memory serves me correctly, there is only one early tank in CMx2 the Renault R35. The battle pack included some early half tracks and some German conversions such as the Renault flame throwers. But, I don't think any other early war French tanks were included. If I'm wrong then perhaps people could name some scenarios which included other French tanks that I can take a look at.

I think that this has cropped up in earlier threads. The first time I fired up this mission I had one full strength platoon, minus their HQ and 2inch mortar. When I fired it up again, I had the HQ unit, the 2inch mortar, but an under strength platoon. As far as I can remember from back then nothing was ever done about it because the campaign designer couldn't find a problem. If he looked deeper into it and I missed any future posts then hopefully someone can give you more help.

He actually had a doctorate in "English Language and Literature, with Old Norse". He also played banjo in a Traditional Jazz band called the Thames Valley Stompers. Points awarded for anyone who gets that one.

Paddy : "Ah Mr Jorrocks Sir. Will yer'se listen to this 'ere fella?. No feckin' mention of how I liberated Rochefort Monastery firing me Sten from the hip outta the open door of me Bedford. Anywayse, we sure did 'ave some craic that night, did we'se not. I found you'se a couple of crates of Gordon's Gin that the monks had stashed away in 1940. And helped me'self to some of their No 10 Ale. When we raised our goblets, you shouted "Go feck yerself Caitlin Summersby", or was that me?"

There just needs to be a main drag through the first village.
Why didn't the locals think of that? Those Belgians are so inconsiderate.

@Bulletpoint I think you are making a very valid point. Traffic management does become a chore after a while. This scenario would have been perfect for the old style "Operations" that we had in CMx1 with the front line adjusting across this great map in bite sized pieces.

In the battle End of the Line, the infantry which start in the Bedford trucks have their backpacks and backsides protruding through the side of the trucks.
I think that that problem goes back to CMBN. Shame it didn't get sorted.

Is the bottom screenshot part of Berlin?
Looks like the island in the middle of the Spree to me. But, my eyes are 400 years old, so what do I know?

I've heard of Water Pistols, but never Wine Rifles.

I know that it is a typo, but I like the sound of "Rome to Viscoty". The mystery city.

And me. Carentan in CMBO was great fun.
That was one of my favourites, a great challenge whether you played it as the Axis or the Allies.

Most of the Operations were great fun. Although I seem to remember that there was one set around Oosterbeek, in the 1st battle the Germans were attacking from both the east and west. But when you fired up the 2nd battle the front line adjustment shoved them all over to one side of the map. Ho hum.

IIRC support weapons have set-up and pack-up times in their info window at the bottom info window. Was that not the case with this gun?
It is the case with this gun. I don't own "Rome to Victory". And found out about it's 5 minute pack-up time from Bootie's "Ten Bob" videos.
-
I know that Bootie posted a video of "Two Crowns", or ten bob as we called them if we were ever lucky enough to have two. I can't remember all the details but you might want to check it out and see what kind of luck he had with the Mountain Gun. It does have a 5 minute pack up time which is something to take into account if you try to move it.

Any of the movement keys will do the same thing...
It is only if you want them to move outside of the setup zone during the first turn that you might wish to give them a different command, "Quick" "Hunt" etc. You'll also find the more you play whether you prefer to use your keypad "N" etc or use the command panel. Either way, Happy Gaming!

There is a small section of the Engine Manual pdf that deals with the Setup Phase and explains how it works.

I was never in favour of seeing anyone's bones. But Charlie the Smug, was asking to have his napper taken off.
As for being down on Crimble that was just politics. Once Elizabeth's "Old Noddle Head Extra Stout" started flowing, we were rocking St. James's Palace for 12 nights.

Just bear in mind, that a lot of people who enjoy creating scenarios, need BFC to give 'em the tools to do it with. So stop chafing at the bit, and wait for those guys to give you Chaffee's to play with.

I assume it will be CMx3 before the "wall hopping" will be fixed. As things stand troops will occupy an AS as best they can. Currently it is not possible to design a wall that runs down the side of an AS, only across the middle.
