PT is no problem at all, my SS boys are doing massive daily hikes in Rokko's new RT scenario that I am testing .... The poor sloggers with bulging calves who could not mount on the Stugs are all yours

Does anyone know of a Winter Mod for Tiger Is ? I have Nepalm's excellent StuH, Panther and Mark IV winter mods along with the GL Bulge uniforms ... so able to field a good looking force atm .... but Tigers in the Snow (fun old game btw) would really round out the scene .....

I decided to take the advice of the wise gentlemen above .... so worth it. While American Tank Destroyers sought to ambush my Panthers ... a hail of Wintery death descended upon them from distant Nerbelwerfers ... and what was once an Allied hill turned into a smoldering crater .... Fun Game Thanks for the encouragement !

Not a problem Rokko. Dug in Stugs did some unacceptable damage to the People's T-34s in the Tankovyi Desant scenario, so I am eager to learn their ways (in an OPFOR sort of way) and then use that knowledge against their masters.

My Glorious Heroes of the Soviet Union just concluded a very bloody battle with a whole stack of Hull Down Panthers (how can Fascists reload so fast?) ... anyways - I'm ready now to give this a go in the next week. Will get back with feedback etc when ready ....

Apologies if this came up somewhere not flagged in my search terms - but is anyone aware of a mod that enables loud / pronounced turret rotation / main gun aiming sounds? I was ambushing a pack of Panthers this morning and thought about how much more fulfilling it would be to have those sounds right before unleashing the power of 122 MM gun .... Seems like there are other quality sound packs out there - but did not see this covered in any of the descriptions ...

Stalingrad -> Uranus -> Winter Storm .... need more CMx3 Snow ! Too much greenery and flowers about atm .... Need gritty rubble, assault guns crunching over bodies in the street, Molotov Cocktails thrown from buildings .... Tanks rumbling out of factories into battle ... strafing of Soviet conscripts as they take the ferry .... Ok - off to watch Enemy At the Gates .... just to get my fix on the visuals

True ... but there are times where I like to re-create the thrill of Red (or German) propaganda films. Try blowing a couple of Panthers to kingdom come with your IS2s while listening to The Russian March. (wish we could get Soviet Flag Bearers to complete the scene) @ John - thanks - nice link .... Well .... generally I am an Eastern Front fanatic - so the choice is not so clear cut for me .... And these days Battlefront is serving up some excellent Eastern Front treats .... but unfortunately with no Frosting It strikes me as kind of odd that a quest for battles in the snow drives one from the USSR to Italy - but it's all good .... Let Operation Gelato begin !

Hi All: I've been going through some serious Winter withdrawal with CMRT and missing some of the nice looking scenarios from CMBB. Couple of quick questions on CMFI / Gustav Line - based on the images I've seen: - Is there actual snow / blizzard type precipitation or is it just snow covering the ground? - Are there any Winter period campaigns and / or decent amount of scenarios available on the disk or in the community?

So - played the Uncle Red scenario from both sides. When the AI is playing the Germans they get not 1 but 2 AT guns ! Couple this with the provisioning of my guys with panzer fausts from the Schindler factory ... I found this scenario only entertaining as I crushed the American infantry with brutal fire missions. A bit disgusted ATM so I went and installed the Windows 7 friendly ver of CMBB and am now taking my angst out on some T-34s with King Tigers. I'll try the 2nd mission as the Germans after some aggressive Panzer Therapy.

.... As the Germans? Similar to Marcos, at the end I had 2 infantry squads - one with 6 panzer fausts and one with none. So I attacked with the sad unit and turned the tank - my other squad then popped off all 6 panzer Faust shots over a number of turns - no joy from that and then my 2 squads slowly died. I'm thinking that I might need to try and take out the tank on the beach with a fire mission from my FO. Hopefully the top armor on that QUicky-MArt tank will collapse under the strain ....

Got it into my head recently to go on a personal campaign to save the Reich from Western invaders by defeating each scenario in order. Has anyone completed or tried to complete this yet? If so, were there any "broken" missions in terms of mechanics, balance or time allowance?

Thanks Wamphyri .... What do you say Devs? Possible Wittmann expansion pack with Tigers and Allied air power? I would pay money for that .....
